Will Good Fortune Lie Ahead for Your Stables?

With summer right upon us, it’s time to once again look what is in the future for your stables.  Since we play a simulated game and race horses in the real world all share January 1st as their birthdate, I have a guideline to tell your true horses astrological sign.  The sign to use is based on the date that they first raced.  Technically, in the sim world, your horse is just a bunch of data flying around that does not organize itself until the horse finally races.  Thus, it makes sense that they are actually born on the day of their first race.

Now what is in store for your fleet of racers???   Let’s find out!!!!

Aquarius  1/20-2/18

There is fun in the sun!!!!  That is exactly what Aquarius horses believe.  Since they would rather be having fun in the sun, it is obvious that this gang should not be raced during the day.  Your best results would be to find tracks that have night races only, otherwise they will not be attentive as their focus is wasted having fun in the sun.

Breeding is not a good idea either.  Especially with A.P. Indy.   This star-studded horse is very serious when breeding and Aquarius horses will be too busy goofing around which could lead to having a very disformed offspring.

Pisces  2/19-3/20

Pisces horses love to party.  What better time for this than the 4th of July!!!!  They will be so full of energy that you should schedule each and every horse to race around that date.  You will not be disappointed.  But avoid racing in the states as horses are very scared of fireworks.  Best to move this flock overseas to race.

Avoid breeding with A.P. Indy during the summer.  Something happens to Pisces horses during the summer and records have proven that any Pisces bred with A. P. Indy in the summer has resulted in extremely injury-prone horses.  Also, none of these summer bred horses have ever made it above the claiming levels.

Aries  3/21-4/19

Summer can be very hot and Aries horses tend to sweat a heck of a lot.  They need water.  Lots of water.  Race them at tracks that abut the ocean.  Believe me, there is lots of water in the ocean.  The water needs to be filtered to remove the salt.  Still, the water will keep them from dehydrating and offers them the best chances of winning.

Do not bread with A.P. Indy during the summer.  A.P. Indy hates water and gets seasick extremely easily.  Any breeding with A.P. will result in offspring that will be seasick on the track.  Who wants that?

Taurus    4/20-5/20

June and July will be great racing months for Taurus colts.  The fillies will prefer racing in August.  However, they will only run great races at the claiming levels.  Any other level will result in total disaster.  Avoid the disaster, take your high end stake runners and give them an easy race in the claimers.  The lower the level, the better they will romp in their races.

The Taurus fillies are very finicky and fussy.  Avoid breeding them with A. P. Indy horses as they will fight the colt off with everything they got.  Dehere might be a more pleasing option for these gals.

Gemini   5/21-6/20

Fireworks will be in the air in July and the planet called Saturn will fall in love.  And so will the fillies and mares.  July is the best month to hook up with  the best of breed.  Spend those BP’s and credits for the best male you can find for your gals.  You will be rewarded ten-fold!.  Be careful…you don’t want to race these girls at all during the summer.  They need their strength to spin off those solid runners for your barn.

But who who’s the best to breed with?   Practically anyone with a stakes winning percentage of at least 6.2%.  You will not regret it….unless you choose A. P. Indy.   You will be wasting your breeding points and credits on that one as your young one will be born with three legs and two tails.

Cancer   6/21-7/22

Thundering away in deep space is the poor planet Pluto.  Wait, those brainiac scientists have taken away Pluto’s “planet” status and have reduced it to the status of a moth ball.  Pluto is still angry at this and the summer months will be loaded with thunderous storms.  Cancer horse love Pluto.  They have supported the planet throughout the humiliation it has faced.  Pluto is setting the right stormy racing conditions for his friends.  Take advantage of this.  Race all your horses at tracks where stormy conditions exist.  Your runners will have the trip of a lifetime!

Storm Cat is the obvious selection to breed to.  This one has also supported Pluto in it’s demise.  Avoid A.P. Indy.  A.P. Indy has been quoted as saying “Pluto is actually smaller than a moth ball”.   Disaster looms ahead for those that don’t adhere to this warning.

Leo   7/23-8/22

Leo’s hate Cancer horses.  They think they are nothing but pathetic fools.  Why do they spend so much time supporting Pluto?  Who cares that it’s not a planet anymore?  Leo’s have had it with Cancer runners.  So much so, you should avoid racing against them, it’ll be the only way to keep your horse’s blood pressure down.  It should be easy to avoid Cancer horses, as they will only be racing at tracks with torrential thunder storms.  You horse will be much calmer and perform better and they will stay dry too!

Now breeding should produce mixed results over the summer.  But avoid breeding with A. P. Indy, who has been quoted as saying “Pluto’s no moth ball…It’s size has been misstated.  It should be a planet”.  A.P. supports Cancer horses and may actually bite your horse if you tempt to breed with him.

Virgo   8/23-9/22

Virgo’s want to be entertainers.  They do not want to race.  So you have nothing to benefit by racing them during the summer.  Let them have their way and maybe, just maybe, they will realize they were born to race.  Take all Virgo’s to an entertainment venue…like the local county fair.  Let them be the focus of the entertainment.  Find a nice spot on the grounds and sell horse rides to the kids for $5 sim-dollars.  Virgo’s will realize that this is not the entertainment they were aiming for and they will wake up and know that they were already entertainers….on the track that is.  Unfortunately, it will take them the entire summer to come to this realization.

Breeding will be a waste of time as they will all be busy trying to make the big-time as an entertainer.  They will not want to be around A.P. Indy as they feel he’s overrated, so don’t waste your time with this one at all.

Libra    9/23-10/22

Where do many people go during the summer….to the beach!!!!  Libra horses love the beach!!!  They love to run in the crisp morning air on the white sandy beaches.  If they get the smallest scent of ocean water, they will want to head directly to the beach.  They are very easily distracted and summer is not a good time to run these horses.  Beach, sand, beach toys, beach blankets and sun tan lotion are the only things on their minds.  Put them in a race, and they will rebel and put in a very a poor result.  In fact, many may feint injury hoping that you will take them to the beach so they can relax and heel.  Best to give them just what they want and hope they will be ready for a strong fall performance.

Breeding wise, forget it.  They’ll be spending too much time in the ocean water galloping about to even think about mating.  But if you should find a rare opportunity where your horse is willing to breed, you best avoid A.P. Indy.  He’s known to kick over sand castles on the beach and Libra’s hate this kind of temperament.

Scorpio   10/23-11/21

Forget racing in the summer.  Going straight to the point with the Scorpion horses.  They find the Summer to be romantic.  You will hear them singing “Summer Loving…Had Me A Blast…”  Ok, so they love this song from the movie Grease.  Let their love be your blessing.  Set them out to breed.  Help them to get in the mood.  Make a nice large comfy bed of hay and shape it on the ground in the form of a heart.  Heck, set it up outside under a clear starry night with a nice warm campfire nearby.  Their love may turn out to be your gain…you may even end up with twins!!!!

But there is one horse to avoid, that surprisingly is A.P. Indy.  He hates the movie Grease.  He hates singing.  He hates warm cozy starry nights.  He just hates love totally.  And Scorpions hate him right back.

Sagittarius   11/21-12/21

Dispose of all your Sagittarius horses as soon as possible.  Unload them any way you can.  Sell them in auctions.  Drop them to the lowest claiming levels and ditch them as a bargain sale.  Donate them to the Amish.   The planet Mars has gone to war!!!  Sagittarius horses are protectors of Mars, thus they are ready to engage in battle.  Unfortunately, this will not be a battle held on the race track.  Rather, they will be at war with Capricorn horses.   No one really knows why there is a war, but there is one and it’s getting ugly.

Breed at your own risk.  In war, there are a lot of temptations out there and some may actually be on the side of the enemy trying to gain war secrets.  A.P. Indy is known to be a Capricorn, so avoid even talking with this one.

Capricorn   12/22-1/19

Mars has declared war against Capricorns.  No one knows why and Capricorns are very confused.   Capricorns have no intent to battle and are avoiding Sagittarius horses who are very supportive of the war efforts of Mars.  Do not cross paths with Sagittarius horses and avoid races against them.

Capricorns are ready to breed, but be cautious as there are Sagittarius horses in disguise willing to do anything to extract war secrets from Capricorns and this includes a romp in the hay.  Take a very careful look at your horses mate for any planned breedings.  Avoid A.P. Indy as he is known to be Sagittarius.
