Hawkz Dirt Juvenile Sprint

Race : Hawkz Baby Dirt Sprint – Maiden Special Weight – $50,000
Track : Queensland (AUS)
Restrictions : All horses, 2 years old, Owner Restricted
Distance : Six furlongs on the Dirt

A field of fifteen maiden juveniles will go around in this Owner Restricted Race over six furlongs on the Queensland dirt track. Here’s a look at the main chances in the mounting yard.

PP4 MR. BIRD (KY) 11/1

First starter from the helenclark stable by Birdstone. Has been kept very safe in the market on debut and will be handled by M Cameron who will give him every chance.

PP5 PUHOI BROWN (KY) 7/2

Is a lovely looking chestnut colt by Big Brown out of a Mineshaft mare from the hkrchwkz barn. This is his first race start but has been kept very safe in the market so expect a bold showing.

PP7 MURTABEEL (AUS) 7/2

Murtajill brown colt from the elagou barn also making his debut here. Must be trialling well because he has also been kept very short in the markets and will go around equal top pick with the five.

PP 9 PUHOI SAVA (NZ) 14/1

Is a lovely brown Savabeel colt by the Alkaased mare Desaakla. This is her her second foal to race the other already a winner after 4 race starts. The bgboost2 barn are expecting a good effort at his debut.

PP10 ALPINE ROCK (AUS) 6/1

The sired barn are expecting big things from this Fastnet Rock colt on his debut. He is by the game mare Alpine Pinnacle by Dalakhani who has already thrown a winner from her first two foals to race.

PP11 JOHNS ROCKING (KY) 13/1

Another first starter in the field. Is by Colonel John from the Smarty Jones mare Rock Hard Smarty with this being her first foal to race. The masterm03 barn gives this a sneaky chance and the engagement of K Damo will make these claims stronger.

PP12 BOIOIOING (KY) 12/1

The db stable will be represented by this Hold Me Back first starter out of the Loup Sauvage mare Early Springs. She was Grade Two placed winner of 14 races who has produced three foals to race including the Graded Placed Sprang Sprung.

PP15 PUHOI WIN (AUS) 10/1

Is a lovely looking Al Maher colt from the winhunter stable. Has had one starts when down the track eleventh at New South Wales on the turf. Switches to dirt here but has race experience on most of these.

This is a lottery and my ticket is going to be PUHOI WIN from the outside barrier. You must throw in the two well fancied first starters PUHOI BROWN and MURTABEEL who have presented very well in the yard on their debut.

Good Luck to all Runners
