The CIROREYEV Memorial
Hi all and welcome to the lovely state of New South Wales in Australia.
Today I will focus on the 12th race of the day The CIROREYEV Memorial.
Race: 4540.5412 The CIROREYEV Memorial Stakes over 1200m on turf for 2yo fillies.
Only 4 horses compete in the second year of this race. Last year we had a field of 6 with PASSIONATE AFFAIR(KY)
winning with a speed of 86. Let’s take a look at this years field.
PP#1 2777 FROMELLES COURAGE(AUS) goata L Fontain 4/5
STARTS: 2:1-1-10
MONEY: $36,900
DIST STARTS: First Start
LAST 5 STARTS: 12
Filly by NORTHERN METEOR (AUS) who is our short price favourite. Has good race record with a win over 1100m at his
first start on this track in a maiden. Then finished second on the track over 1400m in an open allowance. Has barrier
1 and that bwill suit his foward running. Faded in the last 100m last race but should have no problems running out
the distance here. Making his stakes debut, but seems to improve with every start and a big chance to win this.
PP#2 67613 CRO BULLET(KY) mrvica R Dowell 9/5
STARTS: 8:2-1-1
MONEY: $48,984
DIST STARTS: 4:0-1-1
LAST 5 STARTS: 31104
Filly by RED BULLET and the second favourite of the race. Is looking to get back to some form here and has good
speed rating. Has raced in a group 1 two starts ago but found the company to classy. Her last race was in a NW3L
allowance over 1400m where she faded over the last 400m to finish fourth. Has a sure placing but don’t think she
can win this.
PP#3 153604 CAT LOUPE(CA) cincin P Bangs 5/2
STARTS: 5:2-2-0
MONEY: $81,005
DIST STARTS: 1:0-1-0
LAST 5 STARTS: 21124
Filly by TENGA CAT and the third favourite of the race. Has done better over shorter distances so you can forgive
her for her last start. Has placed in a stakes race and is also another horse that likes to go from the front.
With her form and experience she has to be a big threat.
PP#4 323 THREETWOTHREE(FR) haunted M Sullivan 11/1
STARTS: 3:0-0-1
MONEY: $3,600
DIST STARTS: 1:0-0-0
LAST 5 STARTS: 377
Filly by SINJAR (FR) who is the long shot of the race. Is yet to win a race but has placed in a stakes race her first start.
Will have to improve lots to even place here but isn’t without a chance.
