1 MOSKOVSKAYA(KY)  super10  GD Mate  9/2

Growing in form with his last 2 races with exceptional speeds of 110 and 108 over 10 furlongs resulting in two 3rd place finishes in his G1 and G2 races.  Did hit a patch of bad form prior to that but looks like he is coming good now.  Very real and big chance to take this one today – just needs to wind up early so he can catch the leaders.  Doesn’t want to get too far back.
   
2 WAKI’S A.P.(KY)  trotter4  F Inzamam  3/1

Apart from the one slip two runs back in a G1 where he never really figured in the race, this is his distance and grade here.  Has been getting 2nd place finishes at G3 and judging by his speed in what he has raced in so far, the step up to G2 here should be doable.  And it is not a very strong field either so has every chance to really take it by the horns and give it a good shake today.
   
3 VINDICATED STORM(JPN)  40storm99  S Dahl  8/1 

Up and down in form looks almost better on an off track although his last win was on a firm turf track at allowance level two runs back.  Certainly an outsider in this race given it is a G2 race however if he is very very lucky he might get a top 3 finish.  Although he hasn’t run this distance for a while not since May anyway where he finished a closing 2nd place over 10 furlongs in an Allowance race. Some chance here.

  
4 SPARTIATE(ENG)  wicked  S Daum  7/2  

This one is one of the major favourites in this race although he hasn’t had a win for some time – maybe he is due one today.  Coming back into form now with good speeds all over 100, will need to close fast to make sure he hits the line in front.  My guess is he will definitely finish top 3 but will probably struggle to actually win this race.  My guess only…

 
5 CONSECUTIVE(KY)  mrenforcer  T Mooney  5/1

Is getting his run here after a good win last time out over 12 furlongs at Stakes level. Did run a 2nd place finish in a G2 in his prior run although some 7 lengths off the winner.  Speed was up to 108 last race though and looks like a genuine contender here for a top3 finish if not better.  Every chance if he continues his run of good form.

  
6 TIZONA(KY)  dormello  O Rann  5/1  

Has had an excellent run of form this year including a win at G3 level over 10.5 furlongs in August.  Right on his limit of distance if not slighltly beyond his last run at Stakes level looked like the start of a drop in form. To have a chance of beating the favourite here needs to run like he was back in the middle of the year.  One of the older horses in this race.

 
7 DRAGNIPUR  dormello  P Rosportz  5/1  

Running mainly in Allowance company where has been struggling really to reach the 10 furlong mark without losing his pace.  Likes to sit up front about midway through the race but looks like he has then made his run and cannot finish it out strongly enough. And that is at allowance level.  Will find it very very hard here.

 
8 BAD MAGIC(WA)  rblking1  P Chamberlin  41/1  

Bad magic indeed is not going to help this 5yo here who looks way out of his depth to be honest running in this G2 race. No stranger to graded races his best result was 12th back in July where he was only 19 lengths behind the leader!  Big odds and rightly so – if he wins here or even finishes top 3 or even doesnt run last will be an absolute and completely utterly massive miracle.
