AS THE STABLES TURNS
As The Stable Turns could be a popular daytime television show, with all the sensational plot twists. Weather a viewer or participant, it’s hard to deny! The show comes complete with relationship problems, missing people, unfulfilled expectations and more. It is a residency manager’s job, to act as director and attempt to bring all the players together, and blend them into a cohesive unit!
Problems arise and the drama turns into a juggling act, with a dog and pony show to boot. It is this improvisation, that determines whether you flop or win the Oscar! No matter how good your ideas are. It is their implementation that really matters. So with no rehearsals to speak of. The residency thing, tends to be a white- knuckle thrill ride. But like all things good! You can’t turn away, and this production is no different
Like any High-school play, Broadway production or big screen movie. You need to find funding, hold auditions, pick your cast, decide on your target audience, then advertise and hope people show up!
While Our production of “LIKEN IT LOCAL” is a regional affair, The cast & audience is international. With international impact comes responsibility and a duty to do what you say! It is this duty and responsibility that I take so serious! Not only do I owe my residents and partner for believing in me! I owe the Sim itself for giving me a platform in which to express myself. I do know I have detractors & people who hope I don’t or can’t pull it off. For me, the result will be satisfaction in itself. Find show dates, times and info. below.
