Knightmare Stables trained 3yrold filly by SLEW CITY SLEW x TINNERS WAY x SPEND A BUCK she has raced 13 times winning 6 and a nice nest egg of $342,940 won her first 3 starts at 2yrs in open company and has raced in many bargain series races with success. This year she has won Bargain Oaks — Owner Restricted-Stk 8.5f 88sp and The Queens — Owner Restricted-Stk 9.5f 84sp both on dirt against fillies her own age. Will be tested against the older runners on a turf sprint distance.

2 181003 TIANEER(TX) popsracing R Duffy 22/1

Knightmare Stables second runner also a 3yrold this one a colt by TIAGO x SLEWPY x EXCAVATE 13 starts to date have produced 2 wins and $52,042

Has not had the successful career his stable mate has and although an allowance winner over 8 and 9f will be safely held here. Odds maker are not enthusiastic about his chances either. May well prove good pacesetter for better performed partner.

3 190807 CRITICAL SABBATH(JPN) planobrgn C Roser 14/1

Planoaxia Stables a trainer never to be underestimated in these races trains this 3yrold filly he claimed 3 starts ago by THRILLING SUNDAY (JPN) x BUBBLE GUM FELLOW (JPN) x THEATRE CRITIC(IRE) 13 starts so far for 5 wins and $66,428 in earnings she is making her debut in bargain racing and has been racing in high priced starter allowance races. Likes sprint distances and might be the big up setter in this. Will drop back and storm home.

4 167202 PLAYERS CHAMPION(TX) qnslander1 B Wahoo 2/1

Hawkz Racing Stables trained 4yrold by SAWGRASS x DANZERO (AUS) x SOMETHINGFABULOUS he has raced 19 times winning only 3 of them but being placed 12 times also and has won $194,255 in stakes. Yet to win a bargain series race although placed in Bargain Bred Series Class Ack Juvenile 3^rd at 2yrs 3^rd 100 GUINEAS 8f 2^nd Bargain Bred Series Silent Witness Sprint at 3yrs and this year 2^nd in the Everglades Stakes. He has also been placed in open stakes races and ran on well in The King’s Play-G2 7f last time out. Another who will race back in field and look to get run in stretch.

5 128515 COUNT ZIMZAM(AUS) zimzam R Scharf 8/5

HAWKZ IRISH RACING trained 6yrold by COUNT ALBRECHT (AUS) x WAYNE COUNTY(IRE) x HOMING(GB) he has raced 37 times for 8 wins and $373,999 in stakes. A veteran of bargain racing he has produced good results in open stakes as well and its easy to see why he is a short priced favourite. He has won this race the last two years and looks to complete the rare treble two years ago he ran the 6f in a 98sp and last year ran 95sp. This year started well with some fine placed runs in open stakes but he had a rare bad performance I the Everglades Stakes although running on was only 6^th. last time in a to short 5.5f The GIVELOVETHEBOOT Challenge-Stk ran 4^th of 4 but less than 3L from the winner in a 96sp will take a lot of beating if right.

6 118816 ALMOST SCARY(TX) sagamore W G Home 5/1

Axe Racing Stables trained 6yrold by CRAFTY x SHELTER HALF x LARUM 39 starts have produced 8 wins and $195,279 Texas seems to produce some nice bargain bred runners and this is no exception. All but one race on dirt to date including a win and a 2^nd in The Bargain Dash — Owner Restricted-Stk over this 6f distance. One turf race bought a win over 6f but in a slower sp than on dirt . One of the hardest runner to handicap in this on his best efforts must figure in this finish.

7 22080 MR. WILKIE(KY) mkbargain W Lloyd 33/1

One of the masters of bargain racing Shamrock Stables aka mtk76 trains this Ruffy a 3yrold colt by WILKO x SEEKING THE CROWN x FAST PLAY probably bred to be a dirt runner but firing on turf. He is lightly raced and in 6 starts has had 3 placings. Will figure in future bargain races but not well placed to figure in this finish.

8 148211 BATTLE IT OUT(IND) txknight K Ledwith 5/1

Knightmare Stables trains this 5yrold who I sadly let slip through my fingers he is by MAGISTRETTI x GOLD LEGEND x NOBLE BIJOU he has raced 30 times for 5 wins and $89,260 in earning has not figured in two bargain races contested but did run 3^rd in the Everglades Stakes ran a nice 95sp. I will suggest he will run in the money again. Likes to race handy and this may be to his advantage as other favourites are back runners.
