The Grade I Yolkshire Oaks Review

Surrey(ENG). IMTALKINJUNGLEDEEP surged past the leaders to capture the prestigious G1 Yolkshire Oaks by one-half length over a star packed field in Surrey(ENG) today. The stunning little chestnut daughter of Deep Impact rated nicely about five lengths off the pace for jockey D Aniel through much of the early going before letting loose a furious stretch drive.  It was only in the last fifty yards that she was able to power past the pace setters and take down the top prize. The win was her 13^th victory from 22 lifetime starts and boosted her overall earnings to over $1.1 million. This was her first grade-one win to go along with a pair of grade-two triumphs and her 8^th stakes win overall. She is campaigned by the sirkilroy stables which is a part of the kingab group. A spokesman for the stable had this to say; “We are very happy that IMTALKINJUNGLEDEEP was able to show the class that it takes to win a race like this. This was a very strong field with the numbers 1,3,4 and 7^th ranked mares in the world taking part. Our future plan and ultimate goal is to try and have her ready for the Breeders Bowl.”
