Stakes Racing From Queensland

Eight females go around in THE UNDOUBLED DANE G MEMORIAL at Queensland racecourse over seven and a half furlongs. The main chances appear to be:

2 NATIVE MAMBO (KY) 5YO mare 29 starts 9-4-4 $1,803,706 (caliracing)
Good winner in Grade 1 three runs back at Pennsylvania. Last two have been disappointing and she may find the distance a touch too far against these. Should race near the lead but I can see Not Backward pushing up on the rails and giving Native Mambo no peace. Will be ridden by the experienced C Wyatt, the leading jockey this season.

4 JUMBO JACKPOT (KY) 4YO filly 20 starts 7-5-3 $285,016 (lenny12)
Good winner at Ireland last start in a similar grade over a shorter distance. She will appreciate the extra furlong here and will be finishing strongly especially if the pace is fast early on.

5 TRASTAMARA (KY) 4YO filly 22 starts 4-7-6 $276,613 (noia)
Very honest filly who always tries her heart out. Last win was over this distance at Victoria when she sat outside leader. May fall just short again.

7 MOMENTS OF GOLD (KY) 5YO mare 24 starts 9-7-1 $508,820 (maryfran)
Was beaten at Dubai last start after an easy win this class and distance at New South Wales in the Our Lady Rena. Will be ridden by new boy K.Damo who should track the leaders and pounce in the stretch.

8 SOMMERTAG (IRE) 6YO mare 42 starts 5-9-7 $231,430 (jayjay)
Is better then last start effort in Japan. Scored good win in Tasmania three runs back. Top hoop M.Cameron should have her just off the pace and will finish strongly.

My tips are
7 Moments of Gold 2/1
4 Jumbo Jackpot 9/2
8 Sommertag 5/1
