EAAA entry – 3yo filly out of a “G” rated mare and sired by Encosta De Lago.  Sire has winners on either surface while the mare was a dirt runner.  The filly isn’t exactly bred for this distance, but may surprise as the sim sometimes disregards the obvious.  The filly has won all three of her races on turf while switching back and forth between dirt and turf.  She hasn’t been beyond 8.5f, and this is her 1st try against the boys.  Wait and see type.

Ireland entry – 3yo colt out of a “G” rated mare that hasn’t produced any stakes winners as of yet.  Desert King is the sire, who has cooled off as a serious stakes threat in the last three years.  This colt may bring back some credibility to him.   Coming into this with only four starts, the colt’s last out was a win at 9f. with an SP90.  Sabbath doesn’t waste much time with his youngsters, and is testing this colt out early.  He looks like a keeper to this punter.

Blazing Saddles entry – 3yo colt out of an “F” rated mare who has produced some stakes quality progeny.  Sired by Heliostatic, a son of Galileo.  Sire has one graded winner and hasn’t been used that much in the sim.  Six starts for the youngster with five W’s.  The colt’s last start was a listed stakes win at 10f. with an SP97.  Distance no problem, class is shown…looks like a contender here.

GRsimsters entry – 3yo colt out of a “G” rated he/mare.  Sired by top sire Empire Maker.  Lenny has no shortage of breeding mares but saw a nice combination in this retired male.  So far the combo has worked out well.  Seven starts for the colt with three W’s.  Speedy type, and able to carry that speed a least 9f. to date.  He should be the pace in this, and we will all see if he can manage the distance when it’s the turn for home.

Benelux entry – 3yo colt out of a “G” rated he/mare.  Sired by Manduro who has been used a lot by trainers abroad.  The colt has been out six times with two W’s which doesn’t tell the whole story.  This colt’s last start was a victory at 11f.  That pretty much sums up his ability at today’s distance.  However, we have to take into account that the SP85 and a short field may make the win questionable as to class.  There are others entered here that have proved they can go long.  A good test for colt and trainer.

New residency entry – Scratch bred 3yo colt by Elvstroem.  Sire has produced some nice distance progeny as attested by his 3.5% graded winners.  Nine starts for the colt with two W’s.  Slowly maturing into a threat marathoner; as seen in his last three outs.  Colt has closed in all of his nine starts, so one would have to think that he can run forever.  Last start produced a victory at 11f going away handily in SP94.  Trainer has some nice stables and places his/her stock well.  This could be one to watch down the road.

EAAA entry – Scratch bred 3yo colt by Diawa Major.  The sire is a son of Sunday Silence; who seems to sire all of Japan’s runners.  This colt showed a little potential as a 2yo and was dropped into a high mclm for his first win.  He was however snatched up immediately by his new owner.  As we see with a lot of youngsters, this colt is just starting to mature to show what he might have in the way of talent.  No problem with distance here…class is a ?? mark.

Lower Alabama entry – Scratch bred 3yo colt by King’s Theatre.  This colt is the long shot in the field and probably rightly so.  The sire’s PP’s over the sim’s years haven’t shown one stakes winning progeny.  That fact combined with the DS and DDS not having any stakes type progeny; add up to a no go here.  With all that aside, this colt appears to be a very reliable allowance type down the road.

For the most part a fairly decent and unknown field here.  How about a 3/6 exacta box?
