Galloping Joy Looks Tough To Beat
Buda’s Luck (2/5) is trained by Lacostra and was made the favorite off of some bullet works. She is a pretty bay filly with a white face by War Chant. She came by with the pony and was looking sharp and could hardly keep her feet on the ground. It’s hard to know what first time starters will do but this lady looks awfully professional.
Cantfoolacorleon (5/2) must be stabled very near to Lacostra. The daughter of Royal Anthem was under a strangle hold by her rider as she galloped by her mouth wide open. Owned and trained by Billzpaid, she was hitting the ground good and has one win from three starts, a wire to wire victory over the grass.
Also at 5/2 on the morning line is Galloping Joy, a daughter of Galileo, owned and trained by Tflyer. A striking dark bay filly, she is ranked # 41 on the turf and has won both The Nana’s Girl and The Her Rules stakes. She is very athletic looking and has never been out of the money. She is clearly the one to beat on Saturday.
I had about given up on the last entry but she came plodding up late to jog the wrong way for a mile. Lava Pinto (99/1) has a win but on the main track and won for $4,000 claim. She has had many owners, each worse than the last, and now is stuck in the factory barn of the CPU stable. I watched her jog and she looked off in the right front but I suppose by race time she will be fine. It will take a small miracle for her to get a major share of the purse on Saturday.
