You Don’t Tug on Superman’s Cape

Waremblem’s Superman came up big when it counted the most and emerged victorious in the $2,000,000 Breeders’ Bowl Sprint defeating a sensational field.  After looking more like Clark Kent for much of the season, the handsome son of Storm Cat was dismissed at odds of 8-1 by the huge Breeders’ Bowl crowd.

But on this day, Superman brought his “A” game.  Displaying the speed and tenacity of his namesake, Superman dueled the speedy Vale of Arryn into submission while retaining enough strength to hold off that foe’s stablemate, the fast closing Lannister Gold.  Prado’s Choice completed the trifecta.

The final time for the six furlongs was a quick 1:08.3 which earned Superman a 113 speed figure.  He returned $18.60 for a two dollar win bet.
