A Grade One race for a Grade One guy. This is the 3rd annual URC A Tribute to Smokeglack or as his friends and family knew him, Jimmy. A stalwart in the sim, he helped create two residencies, the Universal Racing Club, and All Stars Racing, the latter of which he ran with passion and dedication for many years. He was a contributor to the Black Type Bugalar and frequent participant in the various chat rooms the game and residencies had to offer. Jimmy was an excellent competitor as well, breeding and training many accomplished runners including 2007 Breeder’s Bowl and End Of Year champion Miesque’s Gold. Despite his many achievements, his biggest impact was on the people that he met along the way and the relationships he formed. He will be remembered as “the Ultimate Good Guy” and his legacy and legend will continue to grow in the minds and hearts of those who knew him, most notably his brother Metallinut(Chris), who continues to honor him by running his racing stable and keeping his memory alive by offering this memorial race. Raise a glass of Yuengling to Jimmy and breed some horses to run in the 2027 edition of this race. A top class field of 12 runners are lined up here to pay tribute to a top class man.
