Six 2 years old fillies will be meeting in the Endless Nana(IRE) stakes event this Saturday at ‘Bama Downs’. In review of this group, one can quickly see that this may be a gathering of some future stars in the Filly Division.  If an owner can come out of this race with a nice finish, they should be look forward to a bright racing career.

ENDLESS NANA(IRE) won 7 of fifty-three races; while collecting over one hundred and fifty thousand in purse money.  However, in the breeding shed, she has become a star.  Currently, she has three active runners, with one achieving the status of winning a graded stakes event -DAY AFTER DAY  (x Coronado’s Quest), and another -AS ALWAYS (x Zavata) having won a stakes event.  Her third offspring –ENDLESS APPROVAL has yet to step onto the track.

Pure Prize x Peintre Celebre(IRE)

Ships in from Tennessee with a 5- 1-1-1 overall record.  After debuting with a maiden special weight win, she has come up a bit short in her last four outings.  She has shown a tendency to run slightly off the lead, and the distance may still be a challenge for her to finish.

Pulpit x Jade Hunter

Undefeated with two wins, she has yet to test a track rated “fast”.  She has proven herself on both the turf and “off” surfaces, so a question still lingers.  Morning line co-favorite, and may be three for three after this trip.

Rahy x Sadler’s Wells

She has not liked her stakes trips thus far in her career.  Probably would benefit from gaining some experience against allowance foes, before being placed at this level.

Crowning Storm x Reflected Glory

She looked sharp in her debut, and hung on the outside in her return race.  Unless a change occurs in her running style, expect her to be moving in the stretch to close the gap to the leaders. 

Vindication x Nureyev

Four trips resulting in two wins and two second place finishes. She narrowly lost in her stakes debut the last time out.  She has never been a length or more behind in these races, and may be the one to chase in this event. 

Tale of the Cat x Coronado’s Quest

She has been impressive in both of her races.  Broke her maiden comfortably the last time out, and was drawing away at the wire.  She shares the co-favorite role with THE MESSAGE.  She was running eleventh at the second call in her last race, but rallied to win by three (6.5 furlong event), so the added furlong may benefit her even more.

This is a very nice field of fillies with much future star potential.  Handicappers will find this race a challenge as many options exist.  The field has some early speed, and some very capable closers, so the selections are wide open.  My selections are:
