The Minsc And Boo Memorial

1. STORMY MESA pgcretired 2/1. Filly by Sky Mesa broke her maiden first time out at 5f then tried a owner restricted stakes and did poorly. She is the co-favorite and the one thing she has going is that this is a wet track and she broke her maiden on a wet track.

2. NAVY WORK BLUES general 17/1. The longshot in here and deserveingly so. She ran twice on turf and both were out of the money finishes, it doesn’t look good for her.

3. MOONLIT BAY poppop 2/1. The other co-favorite by Malibu Moon. This filly has 4 starts and none were ever on turf. The mare she was bred from made no money on turf, so i’m not sure I would pick her.

4. LIL GTO genesis 4/1. Daughter of Pulpit, has had one turf start being her debut race. Did nothing here coming in 8th of 14. She has done well on dirt, it looks as though she doesn’t like turf runnning only a 57SP in her only turf start.

5. CJ’S DESERT VIPER cjwalker 7/1. This 2yo filly has had 2 starts on turf coming in 2nd and a 3rd. She is still a maiden, and most likly will still be one after the race, might be able to close for 3rd here.

6. CORAL HIPSTER knightess 5/2. Daughter of Came Home looks like the one to beat here. She has 6 starts and 5 were on turf where her record on turf is 5(2,2,1). She is a speed horse that likes to get the lead and with not much speed in here she might go wire to wire.
