A 4 year old colt running good SP’s but not figuring in the shake up, last run
was best for some time finishing a close 4th of 14 beaten 1/4 in a stakes event
over 7.5f on turf. Last win came way back in June 2004 posting an SP 104 in a G2.
The highest SP was 114 in the group 1 Mospe Cup Sept 2004 finishing 4th.
Verdict…If back to best could win

 
2 BORICUA SOY   by  Roanoke x Unbridle’s Song x Crystal Water  34/1 

A 3 year old light grey colt only 1 win from 17 starts. The win came as a 2 yr old
his second start back in Sept 2004 in 6.5f maiden impressive SP of 83. Last start
was an allowance finished a well beaten 4th of 8. He has not really progressed as
his owner would have expected.
Verdict…no chance

3 BUCK NAKED TWO  by  A P Valentine x Thunder Gulch x Seeking The Gold   7/1 

4 wins from 18 starts from this lightly raced 5 yr old. Last win came in March of
this year in a 14 runner allowance race over todays trip and going, with a nice
SP of 102. last outing was over todays trip and going posting an SP of 103 just
failing to win at the wire.
Verdict…should be there or therabouts

4 FRENCH KISS II(GB)   by  Sharpela(GB) x Beadelaire x Bold Monarch   15/1
 
One of the most experienced in the field this 5 yr old mare will be having her
36th run today. Consistently posting mid SP 90’s recently over todays trip and
going including and allowance win 3 races ago, a 3rd in a stakes race 2 races ago.
Verdict…looks passed best

5 RAMMA RENDEZVOUS   by Holy Bull x Barachois x Sea-Bird  45/1 

Very lightly raced 6yr old 2 wins from 9 starts last win came from May 2002 with
an SP of 87. The owner seems to be getting the best out of him, only 3 weeks ago
posted the best SP of his career with a 91 at the age of 6 finishing a tired 5th
of 8, after making most of the running in a stakes race.
Verdict…allowance company at best
 

6 DECEPTIVELY WAX(IRE)   by  Rock City x Cee’s Tizzy x Habitat  7/1

The most raced horse in the field with 8 wins from 43 starts all wins coming on
the turf around the 7f distance.  This 6yr old chestnut’s still running well the
last start was a close 4th of 9 SP 101 stakes race. Last win came back in January
of this year.
Verdict…may make the frame
 

7 LADY’S MAN TOO   by  Manalo J x Debussy x Gold Stage  4/1 fav

The 4/1 fav due to 11 wins from 29 starts also 7 places and 3 shows. Takes a drop
down in class today after running in group 2 the last 2 times, fast finishing 2nd
last time out with an SP of 104. This 4yr old colts in fine form at present.
Verdict…very consistent, close win? maybe

8 SCARCE GOLD  by Scatter the Gold x Meadowlake x Storm Cat   6/1

Another 4yr old colt with a good record of 22 runs 8 wins and 5 places. His last win
came in July 2005 making all to win by 1 1/4 lengths in an allowance race. Last run
was 6th of 13 SP of 98 in a group 2, out of depth then, this is easier.
Verdict…may still struggle even dropped down in class

 
9  XTREMELY TODAY  by  Lemon Drop Kid x Storm Bird x Relaunch   7/1 

4yr old colt having his 17th run today record of 6 wins mainly run over the 6f – 7f
turf last run was an impressive stakes win over todays trip and going posting an
SP of 104. Very Consistent horse this had his progression interrupted with an injury
in July of this year, looks back on course.
Verdict…should run well

10 TWILIGHT GOLD  by  Seeking the Gold x Norther Dancer x Sir Ivor  14/1 

6yr old old whos struggling of late maybe past his best. 33 runs and 6 wins from them.
The last win came back in December 2003 with an SP of 101, best SP of 113 came when 2nd
in an April 2004 Stakes race.
Verdict…no chance on current form

11 GIZNAD NINER T  by  Northern Niner x Danzig x Preemptive  33/1
 
A 3yr old colt whos been trying routing of late with some success, but back
to 6.5f looks like he may need 8f where best SP of 96 and win came from.
Verdict…looks like he will need another furlong at least

12 GLINT OF GOLD II  by Storm Cat x Glitterman x Forty Niner  6/1 

A 4yr old colt having his 18th run, hes had 5 wins so far. Won well last time
out over todays distance and trip staying on well to win by 1 1/4 lengths SP of 100.
That win was 1st win for nearly a year.
Verdict…could be back to back victories

13 HUSKIE Q B CASEY P(AUS)  by   17/1
 
6 wins from 17 starts for this 3 yr old colt. Consistent low 90 SP’s. last win came
in April 2005 over 6.5f turf. Tried stakes races last few times, best being last time
when 2 1/4 lengths 2nd with an SP of 96.
Verdict…back to allowance company after this
