103726 HOOTENANNY(GB) compassion G Carter 4/1 DIESIS x IN THE WINGS x CHIEF’S CROWN 2YO BROWN COLT He has responded nicely to the step up to allowance company. The extra 1-½ furlong was just a touch to far. Having a ½ f less to race could make all the difference.
30568 LONG FOR GOLD tcity M Bavaro 4/1 LANGFUHR x SEEKING THE GOLD x HALO 2yo brown colt Another maiden winner, a shame he was moved up to stakes to soon, could be cleaning up in allowance company. The added 2f in this race are probably too far too soon.
5053 TAPIT FROM BEHIND stormchase T Monk 4/1 TAPIT x EL PRADO x MR GREENLEY 2yo light grey colt Well raced 6 runs 2/1/2/1.His SPs took a bit of a dip a couple races back ,but he seems to be back on course. He will be running an extra 1-½ f ,this time out ,Will he have enough left in the tank to pull it off?
85390 KRYPTOCLEARANCE kjracing D Craft 2/1 CRYPTOCLEARANCE x DANZIG x A.P.INDY 2yo chestnut colt UNRACED.At 2/1, the oddsmaker seems to know something we don’t know.Well a braver move anyhow debuting in a stakes race.
100778 URKO’S TAPTOE urko M Zeus 7/1 TAPIT x DANZIG x GLINT OF GOLD (GB) 2yo light grey colt The second Tapit son in this race. Well ,he has come 3rd over this distance so the know the ropes, will he be able to use his knowledge we will know later on.
68509 WIND forli C Puschel 5/1 PULPIT x FRENCH DEPUTY x PARFAITMENT 2yo brown colt Just back off the plane from his GIII debut in Ascot, were he posted his best sp 74 so far. This is his dirt debut with an extra 1/2f tacked on. Quite a few changes in one race.
20089 DA VINCI CO ED randwick1 P Coryatt 9/1 TABIB x CHEROKEE RUN x SILVER GHOST 2yo chestnut colt Another dirt debutant ,he was stakes placed LTO,seems to be getting ready for longer runs judging by his PPs.Now it’s all down to the colt, how he handles himself on dirt. the extra distance should suit him though.
A very mixed field of fine 2yo colts. Some with stakes experience ,some unraced. With the speeds all around the 70s mark it seems quite evenly matched. On a second look ,there are some surface changes ,and for nearly all colts a step up in distance. Don’t forget the wild card in the bunch ,he maybe unraced but his bloodlines look very promising.
