Molson Export Gr III 14F 150K 3yr/UP
First brewed in 1903 and continues to be Molson’s oldest beer brand and on hand to celebrate this occasion is our Canadian beer master general “Beerkeg” who was flown in here via private helicopter from NY (gaining 3 hrs) after watching his 2yr old filly Rebel Rhyder run in the Frickazee Stakes. Molson spared no expense to bring in one of Canada’s top Owner/Trainer and Breeder to greet, taste and share suds with the public and some of his fans. Lets just say he was not short on conversation and sharing knowledge of his success while not spilling a drop! Awell as trying to find a way to load more Export on the helicopter for the trip to NY to go watch horse LIVE A LIL hope to beat out steve’s DRINK TO THE GOOD LIFE and the rest of the field in SUNDAY’S The Sparkling Wine Stakes later this evening! So with festivities ongoing let’s see today’s field in the:

1. Would Bob Approve Owner: Dydalt 4 yr G ODDS: 7/1
MAXIMUM SECURITY x DYNAFORMER x AWESOME AGAIN
After being in North America at the early start of the year winning 2 of 4 (once in this distance in a STK) he has been traveling a heavy sched overseas. Running 3 times (2 GR posting a 4th & 5th) in the past couple of months. He did pull out a victory last time out at 16F in a STK. Has been primarily a 15-16 F racer and shortening up again with a short rest should be beneficial but that’s a lot a racing in the short term for a Graded runner.
2. Right Wing Sniper Owner: PBOY20 5 yr old ODDS: 9/2
AMERICAN PHAROAH x MINESHAFT x EL PRADO
Only has raced 14Fdistance in Graded races the last couple of years and has a 3rd,6th & 8th In GR III and a GR II Win to show for it. Has 2 wins out of the #2 hole even if they were ALW races but shows he likes to get up with the pace when inside and make you think about picking this one at those odds. Is the stronger of the PBOY entry in here today.
3. Jackpot King Owner: PBOY20 4 yr old ODDS: 22/1
STREET SENSE x SMART STRIKE x A.P. INDY
Part of entry with Right Wing Sniper and looks to gain experience and end his 4 yr old campaign in a positive note. Has run this distance twice this year, STK (3rd) and ALW (1st) and this seems to be his distance and a good test in making strides next year.
4. S.S. Identifier Owner: Dixiedotco 4 yr old ODDS: 7/1
SEA THE STARS x SADLER’S WELLS x DEEP IMPACT
Has a win at this distance early this year in an ALW. Since than has been tackling 16F GR III and STK with some nice success 2 for 3 ITM before last time out hitting the GR 1 circuit at this distance (5th) in a prep for this one. Last time out was only 2.5 weeks ago so again will be interesting to see how this plays out for this one. But if there is one thing trainer DIXIEDOTCO does well is figure out a plan and execute with horses so this I’ll say was according to the plan!
5. Beach Toy Owner: Kobras 3 yr old ODDS: 8/1
OMAHA BEACH x TAPIT x CURLIN
Up and comer sire OMAHA BEACH is starting to show a bloodline worth taking a chance on. Beach Toy is the leading money earner in this one and the #1 ranked 3 yr old that is having a very strong season and for the first time will run versus older horses. Winner of 3/7 with a Gr II and Gr 1 in there, this is his first time running this distance and another challenge could be that reg winning jockey B. Child will not be the mount in this one.
6. Little Motor Owner: Given 4 yr G ODDS: 8/1
CONSTITUTION x SEEKING THE GOLD x UNBRIDLED
Rattling the first 4 of 6 this season (2 were STKS). He then tackled a GR 1 14F (6th) and then a STK 16F (5th). The good news is that he is well rested and should get back into the 100+SPD figs as he does like the middle gate PP’s. The flip side is not having reg jockey OA Hack in the stir ups.
7. Canadian Coins Owner: World Class Stable 5 yr old ODDS: 7/2
SEATTLE SERENADE x WAR FRONT x SEEKING THE GOLD
ONT Local Champion and the morn line fav has not seen a graded race in a year and half. Has ran turf and off dirt tracks with success 3 for 5 wins (STKS) this year at 9-12 F. The son of little known sire Seattle Serenade is the top horse in his foals and looks to lengthen out to his further distance yet. As with every race he gets a different mount again, no reg jock for this one.
8. Bolt D’Song Owner: Adrian Stables 4 yr G ODDS: 5/1
BOLT D’ORO x UNBRIDLED’S SONG x SEATTLE SLEW
First Graded race and winner 4 of 6 this season, 3 at 16F and 1 at 14F in ALW all 100+SPD. Sire Bolt D’Oro is also making a name for himself climbing up the sire charts and will soon not be a secret. Nearing or leading the pace is what we can expect here and possibly steal it.
9. Moxley Hill Owner: Oakridge Stable 4 yr old ODDS: 9/1
CONNECT x MINESHAFT x UNBRIDLED
ITM in all 5 races this year even if only in ALW. This is a first time Grade race runner that has just come off a impressive prep ALW win with a 104 SPD at this distance and rounding out in form at this distance. Could see this one trying to tackle the lead out of the gate and go wire to wire as this outside post poses this strategy and he has the speed to do it.
10. Just Six Owner: Massatogabo 6 yr old ODDS: 11/1
ACCLAMATION x LEAR FAN x STRAWBERRY ROAD
Being the older horse and most races ran in the field and 5 starts this year 4 @ 16F. This is the pace setter of the race that looks to bounce back after the last two sub par performances (11th,5th) at 16F in STKS. One big positive is that jockey V. Naugle is aboard and has 2 of his 8 career wins (one at this distance and this PP). This will also signal a comeback to the Graded race circuit.
LR Tips:
1 Beach Toy going with the youth on this one.
2 Bolt D’Song like the ITM %
3 Little Motor looking for the 100+ SPD to be back on track
