Great Sim Memories Giveaway begins on game’s Main Message Board

The Sim’s official 10th birthday isn’t until Friday, August 15th, but gamers have already started to party in the Great Sim Memories Giveaway contest on the main message board.   All players are welcome to participate in this “once-in-a-Sim-lifetime” essay contest which begins today and ends Tuesday, Aug. 19.

The Giveaway rules are pretty simple:

1)  Please, one essay per player.

2)  In the essay, recount your favorite Sim memories in 100 words or more (about a good long paragraph or a descriptive Top 10 list).

3)  Post your essay in the official thread entitled, Great Sim Memories Giveaway:  Post your memories here!

3)  Don’t forget to include your stable with an open stall to receive your “birthday present” (a modestly bred 2yo or 3yo horse)!

Players are encouraged to post early since there is a limited amount of prize horses.  There is no “judging” in this essay contest (for the grand prize, 2nd prize, etc).   Instead, prize horses will be awarded upon participation (and meeting the 100 word requirement).  This is to encourage as many players as possible to participate in the Sim’s 10th celebration.

New players to old-timer veterans are all welcome to participate in the Giveaway.  Please visit the contest’s thread for essay ideas and more info.

The Great Sim Memories Giveaway is sponsored by the Black Type Bugler, Sim Hall Of Fame, and Derbyfever.com Horse Racing Game.

Good luck Sim gamers and happy 10th birthday Sim!
