PP # 1 Lemon Lime (IRE) @ 9-1
Trained by Lilmitsi, a member of Pastures of Green
Ridden by: W. Jenkins
Lemon Lime is a four year old multiple stakes winning daughter of Kalanisi, out of Lemon Kist by Lemon Drop Kid. After making two decent dirt debuts Lilmitsi switched her to turf, and had a huge improvement. Her last outing at this distance resulted in a career best 105 speed figure. In her last race Lilmitsi decided to give her a sprint freshener, she found a small graded field and Lemon Lime was closing fast but ran out of track. Look for Lemon Lime to be sitting right off the pace.
PP # 2 Otto History @ 4-1
Trained by Capsized, a member of GR Simsters
Ridden by: R. Michaels
Otto History is a six year old multiple grade 1 winning daughter of Deputy Minister out of a Fappiano mare. Otto History has primarily run on dirt, her lone turf race was an allowance win in March of 2007. Capsized looks to be using this race as a freshener, but if her form carries over on from dirt in her second turf try the other horses will need to look out. On dirt she’s ran a 110 speed figure at this distance in March, so this distance will not be a question. Look for her to try to take the lead early and take it gate to wire.
PP # 3 Fog is Pretty @ 9/2
Trained by Ladypd, a member of Alpine Turf Club
Ridden by: R. Bullock
Fog is Pretty is a five year old stakes winning daughter of Changeintheweather, out of Fog Matter by Alleged. Her career best was at this distance with a 110 speed figure. Her last race she didn’t like the wet track, but the average speed figure in her last three at 8.5 furlongs is a 105.5. Look for her to be sitting mid pack to make her signature closing run.
PP # 4 Wishing Well @ 5-1
Trained by ZZ, a member of Rash
Ridden by: N. Painter
Wishing Well is a four year old graded winning daughter of Sadler’s Wells, out of Lure’s Kris by Lure, who also foaled another stakes winner. After switching to turf Wishing Well is another that showed fondness of the switch. Her last race was a this distance on a track labeled as good, and she ran a 101 speed figure. The two races at 8.5 before that, she ran a 105 in both. Her career best race was also at this distance posting a 108 speed figure. She likes to sit at the back of the pack and close down the stretch.
PP # 5 Planetarium (IRE) @ 5-1
Trained by Fairyking, a member of Northwest Racing Circuit
Ridden by: T. Johnson
Planetarium is a four year old multiple stakes winning daughter of Galileo, out of a Kris S. mare. This late developing mare had her first start at three. Her last race was a 6.5 furlong stakes win with a speed figure of 106. In March she ran a 113 at eight furlongs and has ran triple digits at nine furlongs, so the added distance should be to her liking. She is a versatile runner that likes to press the pace but can take the lead if needed. Look for her to be sitting second or third to try and stay out of a speed duel.
PP # 6 Credit Clock (KY) @ 9/2
Trained by Brentuk1, a member of Minnesota Downs
Credit Clock is a four year old multiple stakes winning daughter of the great Fusaichi Pegasus, out of a Red Ransom mare. Her last race was an eight furlong stakes win with a speed figure of 110. She ran in the Smackdown but was locked in a blistering speed duel and faded to fourth. She hasn’t ran in a race over eight furlongs this year but in 2007 her fastest races were at this distance. She has ran triple digits in her last six firm turf races. She will be going to the lead right out of the gate and will be the speed horse to catch.
PP # 7 Risk of Ruin (KY) @ 5-1
Trained by Lenny10, a member of GR Simsters
Ridden by: B. Dirks
Risk of Ruin is a four year old graded placed and multiple stakes winning daughter of the mighty Storm Cat, out of grade 1 winning Arkansas Traveler, by Pine Bluff. She was another late developing filly that debuted as a three year old. Her last race she encountered traffic trouble in the Smackdown and still posted a 104 speed figure. In June she posted a 110 to just miss in a grade 3. Her career best was a stakes win at this distance in January. She will be sitting mid pack and try to get a ground saving and trouble free trip.
