Comeback by an experienced trainer Part 2
Comeback by an experienced trainer Part 2
Welcome back to my Monday Series looking inside two of my stables, on the one hand we have boble, starting with tons of BP, $ and credits, on the other hand the real newbie stable boble2.
So what happened last week, well for boble I bred 3 credit horses, that I’ll give you a look at, and I entered my first races on my comeback tour, as 3 horses came up sharp. For boble2, I had a few claims in, but only won 2, I’ll take an inside look at those, plus take my 5 original horses out to the track and into the entry box for the first time.
Let’s start off with boble:
My newly arrived breedings:
BoLight 2yo filly Awesome Again x Danzig x Northern Dancer
Looking for good results on either dirt or Turf, likely more on Dirt and in the distance of 10f, perhaps likely too much inbreeding with Danzig and Northern Dancer(I have to learn my way back into the sim to avoid such mistakes)
BoSummer 2yo colt El Prado x Gone West x Irish River
I love this colt to strike on the turf, can’t wait for his first outing.
Bowilling 2yo filly North Light x Lyphard x Unfuwain
Another one screaming for turf, likely a nice filly that I hope to get longer distances than 1m.
Now about my horses I’d like to run out for the first time in boble colours, Farax my 5 yo claimer, that has won 8 of 14 lifetime, I decided against ALWs and will try a 150000 CLM at the E1 track, he’s likely finding a tough opponent in the sponsor of the race, but I think he’s not good enough for ALWs.
Actuate my 3yo filly I bought in the auction, I want to try in an 11f ALW for 3yos, looking at the recent entries I think the sponsor of the race is too good for her, but I’ll find out.
My third starter will be Wilde Hilde III the 8yo still looks a nice runner, and I’ll try her in a 150000 claimer at Ireland, looking at the entries, she is likely asked too much in that race, and as I’ve not made a secondary entry I might change my thoughts, she also looks to drop out of the field if more register.
Looking at my entries with the perspective of 1 day gone, I think I could have done way better, and it might be a better idea to wait till Monday afternoon to make entries and not rush them Sunday evening.
So let’s look at the other stable boble2 I only managed to get 2 of my 5 tried claims, but that could be expected, as I had no runners, and so no track advantage, I like the first one, Elispeth a 3yo filly ID # 153534 her breeding is nothing special, Vision and Verse x Rhodes , but if you look at the Sires of those two horses it’s Storm Cat and Mr. Prospector, so bred for speed, the horse won the MCL over 6f Turf, and I look for a low level NW2L claimer for her.
The other horse I claimed is TOOWild, a 5yo horse ID # 40474 with a Mtoto x Forest Wildcat breeding, he looked best at 8f Dirt, and I’ll keep him around that distance, another try on turf may be worth a shot, but a solid place in a low level claimer may be the best to hope with this 2000$ claim.
Next week my 5 horses in this stable will look for their first outing, I have no big hopes, i fear I misplaced most of them, and they’ll likely come home with the last horses, but those first races are here for me to learn, if I can give one advice, don’t think too high of the horses you claimed or got as original horses, they likely get fed, if you run them in high LVL Claimers or ALWs, and this is what will likely happen with mine.
News from my other stables:
As I stated I have now a total of 10 stables, 4 real newbie stables, 6 experienced stables with $ and BP,
So as I haven’t had runners this week I bred some more horses and bought some nice horsies in the auction, let’s look at a few I really like:
At mullerchen I bred Boclock it’s a 2yo Colt, Theatrical x Alydar x Key to the Mint, I hope he can keep what his breeding promises, a nice auction buy I got was Null and Void a 4yo High Chapparal Colt, who ran a 107 in one of his recent outings at 8f Turf, I hope it wasn’t a one time fluke, I’ll try him over 9.5f this week at Victoria.
At herbie I bred a nice 2yo filly BoSlight, it’s Rahy x Caro x Irish River, and I hope for success in the turf sprints or medium routes. I really can’t wait to see my homebreds out on the turf.
Next week I will look at my first weeks runners, I will not annoy you with 5th places in claimers, I will take a look at what worked, and what didn’t work, trying to analyze extremly good showings(I hope there are some) and some which trailed the field, and going into depth by finding out why they did,
Till then, success at the tracks, may the horse god be with you!
