CVBears Hometown Handicap

FURION STAGE proved too good for her rivals and produced a good turn of foot in the closing stages to take this Grade III Sprint.

Second placegetter FALSE HOPE produced a powerful finishing burst to come from third last to just go down by 1/2 length.

Favourite and third placegetter STRONG PROSPECT made her run with the eventual winner however was just outgunned in the stretch.

Im happy to say my top 3 picks run the trifecta so I hope some people had some luck with their wagers.

Congrats to the connections of the winning horse and placegetters.
