Forty Six Groom Special Stakes
Welcome here to the California races! We got a small field this week boys and girls! Let’s hope the bettors and owners do well in the Forty Six Groom Special Stakes if you understand what I’m saying. Let us begin!
Beat Boxer – 9/5
Beat Boxer is a 5 year old mare who has being doing excellent at this age! She’s bred out of Seeking the Gold x Danehill x Ela-Mana-Mou (IRE). This 5 year old mare can certainly run the distance. Looking at her SP she has pulled triple digits knowing that she certainly has speed. Looking at her past performances she can run two ways coming from the back of the field or she can just stay behind the leaders and waiting to go.
Viking Queen (IRE) – 9/5
Viking Queen is trying to make back to back victories after winning the Solar Storm Memorial Stakes by 2 lengths going wire to wire. This 4 year old filly out of King of Kings has a ton of heart going wire to wire in 10 furlongs. It looks like she has no other choice but taking the lead. Let us hope she can handle the speed in the race.
Semi Charmed Pye (IRE) – 9/2
A 5 year old mare out of Theatrical (IRE) is an ok horse. She hasn’t been running too well in his past races. The last race she ran was terrible running dead last in the field. But since there is a ton of speed in this race, the horse has a chance since she has a late kick in her.
Otto Platinum- 9/5
This 6 year old mare is unbelievable! As a 6 year old she still manages to pull triple digits and run like if she was a 3 year old! The last race she ran in was the Hannah Barber Cap G2, which she ran second closing in on the winner. The last 7 starts (excluding the G1 race) have run in the money mostly 1st or 2nd. I really like this 6 year old as my choice as she still runs strong.
