2nd Call – Contest Open to All Players

This contest, starting Oct 1st and running through Mar 31st, is open to all players in the sim. It is a FL sire contest run in conjunction with a single sire contest for residency members of the newly formed Florida Racing Club (FRC). If you enjoy these types of contests, please consider joining (or assigning a stable) to the Florida Racing Club.

Thank you to all the people that have already entered! We have had a nice turnout so far and I wanted to reach out one more time before the 10/1/22 debut races to let folks know about the contest.

In order to enter: create an UNRACED – SCRATCH BRED – FL sire 2yo and post your info and horse as directed in the derbyfever forum thread. After signing up, go ahead and enter into one of the debut races posted in the first post of the thread.

If you came to this article as a result of the link in the race entry page that one of your horses entered – you are also welcome to enter a qualifying horse in the forum thread! If your current horse does not qualify for the contest, we look forward to competing against your horse in this race! If your horse DOES qualify for the contest, please post your entry in the derbyfever forum listed below (or at the FRC residency) as that is one of the rules required in order to get into the contest tracker.

If by chance you accidently made a mare bred FL sire horse that does not qualify for the main contest (or if you really don’t like scratch bred contests), we have a separate contest for a very small prize -The Mistaken Marebred Competition. You can sign up in the same thread and I have created a separate tracker for that contest.
