Trained by the local Queensland trainer next bonus a legend around these parts. This 6 yrold brown mare looks in outstanding order when working on the track on Thursday mourning held under a tight rein by her track rider she covered a mile on the cinder track with ease and look in for a good winter. She looked good when 2^nd last time out in The EIGHTY NINE PIGEON Special-Stk over 10f she was also a good 5^th in the World Cup Ladies Turf Classic — Restricted-G1 last year only 3L from the winner. She should race just behind the leading group and look to finish on.

2 96377 GETTIN’ IT peter12 C Wyatt 3/1

PEDRO’S RACING EMPIRE from EAAA Racing trains this 5 yrold mare the clear 2^nd favourite for this . She has the services of top jockey C Wyatt and that goes a long way towards success in Queensland. She is by the top turf distance sire DYNAFORMER and has carried on his good record as a sire by performing well in the best of company. Her last 5 starts on or around this distance have produced 4 wins and 1 2^nd all in stakes races and all over 100+sp you cant do much better than that. She has won 14 races altogether and $700,000 in earnings. Will race on or near the pace and take some pulling back in the stretch .

3 11654 WAVES OF SPIRITS mv4ever P Kays 10/1

She has the services of up and coming rookie jockey P Kays as an added advantage here . She is trained by Mv4ever Stables and has mixed her racing on both surfaces with some degree of success. She has raced only in allowance and claiming company she is from the grand Agrade he-mare HIGH RIVER the winner of 9 races and $2,551,549 in stakes and if she can go as half as good as him in graded company she is going to do just fine. First graded race so we will have to wait and see how she measures up.

One of the outsider of the field though one would wonder why . She is trained by Deadinthelane Stables and has a pretty good stakes record and has been in the money on 14 occasions from 18 starts. So it would suggest if you were looking for one at the longer odds you could do worse than put a dollar onher at least for a place. Two starts back she won The FIGHTING FORCE(GB) Special-Stk over 9.5f in a 102sp and should race hany to the pace here again.

5 37332 EXCUSE(IRE) stormborn M Bruce 5/2

The ruling favourite for this she is at pretty cramped odds and comes from the strong Given Stables: Fire and Blood the home of many a graded winner. She is by PEINTRE CELEBRE (IRE) the producer of many graded performers. Never out of the first two in her last 15 starts she must again form the quinella one would think. She won the The NAPPY DUGOUT Special-Stk over 10.5f in a 109sp and seem cherry ripe for this . Her last 4 runs have seen her sp’s escalated into the 100s and she only looks like improving and picking up her first graded win. Will drop to trail and power home late.

6 47631 BLIZZARD BORN(KY) sojourneys T Cox 29/1

The rank outsider here she is probably one of the best bred and will make a great broodmare one day. She is trained by Ldyssecret Stables one of the most popular trainers in the sim . Only 4 yrsold she will only improve with time she does not have anywhere near the experience of the other runners here. She seems to have loved the steep up in distance and only good things seem ahead for her.

7 125626 CAN’T HARDLY WAIT(KY) deyoto3 M Radke 6/1

Another 4 yrold STORM CAT mare she has raced well through the allowance classes and seems now ready for graded racing. She has won 4 from 15 and her last 3 startts have produced 100+ sp’s . She is trained by Champion Lodge a local stable run by Queensland favourite deyoto she also looks as if her best racing is in front of her look to her to pick up some big races soon maybe starting here. And her broodmare capability will grow with each race. She has only race this far once but now seems ready for more ground .

8 119068 CONDEMNATION lenny14 M Cameron 9/2

THE EVIL EMPIRE produces this 5 yrold mare for this race she has won her last two races and a great run in Flower Pot Stakes-G1 late last year for 3^rd point to her being very hard to beat. The winner of 10 from 23 she looks a top liner of great quality. With a solid staying pedigree which she has well and truly lived up to will stand her in good stead in this field and she will try to grind them into submission with a strong front running display even from this alley .

9 130572 DANZITY(ITY) kyjelly T Brett 11/1

Trained by James22 Stables a bit of a slippery fellow. She is another of the 4 yrolds in the field and as with the others is lightly raced with 13 times in the money from 18 starts her best racing is in the future. A stunning claim in her last start she could turn her trainer into a genius if she runs in the money here.

May try to sit back in field and dive-bomb them in stretch.
