   Starting from the rail,this scratch bred 4yo Pine Bluff colt runs for Antogonist Stables and owned by Jacklad Empire. Won his last outing (also From the rail) in a 12F Alw NW4L with a speed # of 99. Unsuccessful so far in 7 stake tries including the G1 Travelers. This is his first time in Ireland and at this distance. This is a nice colt who runs better at allowance level it seems, but could see a place or show.

    Breaking from the 2 hole is Java Code. This 5 year old horse is by Java Gold out of a Mr. Prospector mare Hollywood Sap (who only ran once). Java ran in a stakes race at this distance last time out and finished 2nd gaining on the winner. Won the race before that in an open Allowance by 4 1/4 at 13F w/ a 104 sp#. Has been improving. If he runs to his form lately he could hit the board . Do not think he has what it takes to beat the favorite today.

    An Allowance winner last time out @ 12F. Jolly will try to get 14F for the first time here, had a 3 race winning streak in allowance company snapped when he ran in The Alychocolate Count in Nov. of last year, where he finished 3rd by 2 1/2. That was a 13F race and his 1st of back to back Ireland races. He then tried the G3 Grey Fox to where he was just outclassed. Not sure if he will like the mile and three quarters but he looked sharp in his last at a mile and a half.Can he get that extra quarter of a mile? At 4-1 we’ll find out.

   At 39-1 this 10yr old horse looks somewhat over his head in this one. He has never won a NGS and his best has come when entered under his conditions in allowance company. His last two races were at 13 and 14F’s in stakes field and he finished distant in both. Not today!

    This 8yr old horse was claimed for $75,000 by greatman stables Nov.10,2007, where hecame in third. Nash is by Nashwan out of a grade B mare Granny Final, who was a G3 winner. This is the first time since Oct.’06 he has run at this distance. Even with Reed on him it looks to be an uphill battle for him today.

     Jay Alfred is a 6 yr old horse by A.P. Indy, wh has run the majority of his races on turf. His most recent dirt efforts were in allowance races @ 14 and 13F respectively. He finished 3rd both tries. He is 14/1 and should be today with the favorite in this race.

   Z Kentucky

    Krispy is the “creme” of the crop in this race. This 5 yr old horse is your odds on favorite at 6/5 and for a good reason. He is ranked 40th overall on dirt routes with 73 stake points. By far the most in this race. He has raced in 7 stakes since May ’07 and won 4 while ITM in everyone of them. Trainer bbudgies has entered him in graded company twice, most recently in The Grey Fox -G3 here in Ireland, where he finished fourth behind the winner who is ranked 6th in this division. Krispy Creme is currently on a 2 stakes winning streak and looks here he will make it three in a row.Ireland’s winningest jockey is up for the ride.

  This writer finds it hard to go against the favorite here. He will be sitting way in the back for most of the race but when he makes his move,

you will know when he does, he will come on like a freight train.

I like Java Code to get up for 2nd he will be in the back too but will not have enough to compete for the win in this one. And show is a dog fight. Jolly DM House looks like he could be the one to grab 3rd.
