British and European Guineas Day

British and European 2,000 Guineas

A quick look at our runners for this race –

Rock Song Saddle – was bought by the sponsor because he desperately needs to run over further than he was doing. Not sure he’s up to this standard though.

Friccion – bought by the sponsor for this race, seems decent.

Kitui – Nice colt, ran 91 last time over this distance on dirt, not quite so fast on turf but probably best of these.

Nomad Connection – unraced, interesting.

Major Tan – good run last time, should stay.

British and European 1,000 Guineas

Now for the fillies’ race –

Scores Of Candles – looks decent, 88 last time over 7.5 and should improve over longer.

Desperate Dropper – has a bit to find but interesting

Abrielle – All races on turf, 87 last time over nine but dropping back in distance now.

Touchparty – Some good speeds over a longer distance, returning to a mile here.

Show Promise – yet to win a race and outclassed in her only one run over this surface and distance.

Good luck to all our runners!  Looking forward to more 3y-o Classic races later in the season.
