This is a nice little Listed Stakes race that will be running in Pennsylvania. We have nice 3 year old fillies that will run in the Huge Royalty Dirt Filly Route on Friday afternoon. The field of fillies look closely matched for this race and we could find a first time stakes winner emerge. Pabst Blue Ribbon is the only stakes winning horse in this field and she holds a G1 accolade. Let’s take a quick preview of this horses running in the Huge Royalty Dirt Filly Route.
Post Position: 1
Horse/Odds: Jenni 5/1
Sire: Awesome Again
Owner: becker15
Jockey: J Piotrowski
This filly had a nice run back in July here in Pennsylvania when she came in second in the Bush Wins Again Dirt Filly Challenge. Her most recent trip to the track was on 08/08/2020 in New Jersey running 8.5 furlongs in the G3, The Jersey Oaks. She steps back down in Class and will have jockey, J Piotrowski in the saddle. They will work together representing The Eh Team residency.
Post Position: 2
Horse/Odds: Kablitzing 12/1
Sire: Snitzel
Owner: deepesr0
Jockey: D Pazjazz
This filly had a nice Allowance run in July in Newmarket going 8.5 furlongs. She ran just off the lead and then made a good effort to grab the wire first. She came back on 08/22/2020 to run in Kentucky in the Ks Araku Dirt Filly Memorial. She ran kind of flat not making a lot of moves but she was in good position and crossed the wire in third. Perhaps a nice 12/1 play at the betting window. Jockey, D Pazjazz is going to be in the saddle for this one. They will head to their gate representing the Empire State Racing residency.
Post Position: 3
Horse/Odds: Pabst Blue Ribbon 5/1
Sire: Uncle Mo
Owner: smokeglack
Jockey: T Kelly
This filly ran in July in New York in the G1, Players Club National Oaks. She had taken a big jump in Class in that race from her prior outing. She popped with a big surprise for her owner when she handily won the race by two lengths. She last ran on 08/15/2020 in New York in the G1, Birmingham Stakes. She did not shine that day crossing the wire in fifth. This nice looking filly drops down in Class for this race and will have jockey, T Kelly taking the ride with her when they head out to their post representing the All-Stars Racing residency.
Post Position: 4
Horse/Odds: Never Get Old 9/1
Sire: Scratch Bred (CREATOR x EL PRADO x SHAMARDAL)
Owner: mogulaxius
Jockey: R Wisniewski
She has been racing for her owner on the turf and has shown good results. But in her last race she ran on the dirt on 08/26/2020 in India in a $39,000 NW3s Allowance. She transitioned over to the dirt getting up for a win by 2 ¼ lengths at the wire. She will return to the dirt here in Pennsylvania and attempt to pick up another stakes win on this surface. She will get the service of jockey, R Wisniewski for this race when they head out at post time represent the Bargain Bred Racing Series residency.
Post Position: 5
Horse/Odds: Woette’s Street 6/1
Sire: Tapit
Owner: eliteteam1
Jockey: D Hinnant
This daughter of Tapit ran back in June of this year in the Ideally Suited Dirt Filly Route. She ran her top speed rating of 106 that got her up on the boards in third. She came back out in Kentucky on 08/17/2020 to travel 12 furlongs in a $75,000 Allowance of which she crossed the line way back, but it was good enough for third. The distance in that race seemed too long for this young filly. She steps back down in distance for this race which should help her and her jockey D Hinnant who will be in the saddle. They will head out at post time representing the Universal Racing Club residency.
Post Position: 6
Horse/Odds: Notifications 8/1
Sire: Long River
Owner: spinsanta2
Jockey: D Post
This stakes placing filly ran a nice race in West Virginia this past July. She ran in a $52,500 Local Allowance race going 8 furlongs of which she fired to pick up the win by 2 ½ lengths. She then came back out for her most recent race in New Jersey going 8 furlongs on 08/30/2020 in the Wolf Of Queensland Dirt Filly Mile. She was trying to close and appeared to run out of track coming in third. Her owner calls on jockey, D Post to take the ride with his filly and represent the Empire State Racing residency.
Post Position: 7
Horse/Odds: English Tiger 9/2
Sire: Curlin
Owner: leechy4
Jockey: D Lutchman
This filly has started off nicely for her owner and has quickly moved herself up the ladder. She has four career starts with three wins to her credit. She is coming off two wins in a row at the Allowance level and will be moving up in Class to race for the first time at the Listed Stakes level. She picked up a nice win $14,600 NW3L Allowance in Massachusetts in June. She came back out for her most recent trip to the track in New York when again she went gate to wire in a $48,700 NW3y Allowance. She will have the services of jockey, D Lutchman up top when they head out to their gate draw representing the British And Nordic Racing Club.
Post Position: 8
Horse/Odds: Sporty Court 5/1
Sire: Awtaad
Owner: gcsr1
Jockey: D Stair
This filly has made fifteen lifetime starts and has picked up only one win. But I must also point out she has been close many times and has picked up a GP badge. She last ran in Kentucky on 08/22/2020 in the Ks Araku Dirt Filly Memorial of which she crossed the wire second and ran a 106 speed rating. She could be challenging in this race with jockey, D Stair in the saddle. They will be heading out on Friday afternoon representing The Canadian Thoroughbred Residency.
Post Position: 9
Horse/Odds: Stitchingparachute 9/2
Sire: Pierro
Owner: nwo4life60
Jockey: C Sundwall
This filly has had some ups and downs, but if you look back to May of this year she ran here in Pennsylvania and picked her SP badge at the same distance. She has had some struggles since that time. She last ran on 08/29/2020 in New York going 8.5 furlongs in a $48,700 NW4L Allowance. She did not give her best performance that day and crossed the wire in sixth. She looks for a rebound performance and will have jockey, C Sundwall to help guide her. This pairing will head out at post time to represent The Minnesota Testbarn Residency.
Good luck to all owners and horses!
Skippy’s Watch List
3-Pabst Blue Ribbon: Looking to get back on the boards. She could take this one.
5-Woette’s Street: The distance looks good for her. She has been on the hunt.
8-Sporty Court: Had a good last outing. I look for another good run here.
Tarton’s Long Shot
2-Kablitzing: After a switch to dirt she has been improving. At a 12/1 price she looks like a good choice on some exotic tickets. She certainly good hit the boards in this race if she finds her position in this race out of the gate.
