THE TRIPTYCH MEMORIAL G1
Welcome to Ostend for the running of THE TRIPTYCH MEMORIAL Grade I Six furlongs 1
Firm Turf $500,000 Fillies and mares, 3 years old and up . A full field of 14 lines up here on a bright sunny day.
This 4yrold mare has a great record of 16 wins from 29 starts and $1,608,060 in stakes for her trainer Rockriver Stables he has done a good job of managing her career . And has found another nice race for her here. She has had the odd try over longer distances but 6f looks her best distance. She has won over this distance in G1 and G2 company and her most recent runs suggest her winning ways are not over . A nice run storming home for 3rd last time out in the G1-World Cup Ladies Turf Sprint — Restricted should have her cherry ripe for this. From this draw she will drop easily in behind pace and save it all for the run home.
2 92771 WORLD OF TROUBLE(IRE) zwylde JK Dekeyser 12/1
GIANT’S CAUSEWAY (IRE) 5yrold who tried the dirt last time out. She has won on both surfaces but does not win out of turn and place chance may be her best bet in this field. She is trained by Black Label Stables from the DelPenn National residency. She will probably drop back early and try to run on late in stretch. Nice win 5 starts back in the G3-Kaz Hayashi Sprint Cup over 5f .
3 93535 HERBALISM ninerae A Glover 5/1
Opcon Stables produces this lovely Chestnut Mare by GONE WEST another 5yrold mare proving that a bit of age can be an advantage when taking on these graded races . She has been taken patiently through the stakes ranks and now looks ready for her first G1 assignment. She has run the times and sr’s required and if she handles the jump to G1 company should go close to winning. Another who will sit behind lead runners and try to out gun them in stretch.
4 113956 BUDA FOR A DAY(KY) vicki B Ampe 8/1
The first runner from a mare and what a producer she is VICKI’S GAL was stakes placed herself but has produced 3 runners of better class in this mare, DANZIG’S BUDA and STORM OF BUDA . She has the breeding and her race record of 17 starts for 9 wins and $1,302,050 in stakes speaks for itself. She may have fancied a little easing in the track as she has won 3 from 3 on off track. But she hasn’t got the wet track and will have to try and do it on the hard surfaces on offer today. Will run hard on pace and try to hold them off. Her trainer Twoofus Stables is no stranger to top class racing and should have his mare ready.
5 116449 DUBAI BOIS(IRE) 7thheaven A Smith 28/1
By the relatively new sire DUBAWI (IRE) she is from the graded stakes placed mare SEVENTH HEAVEN who won 10 races in her career. She is trained by Hopeful Farms. She has run some nice races but seems better suited to stakes racing at 7f and should be safely held here . Could lead early and try to run sprint out of the closers.
6 74254 CAN’T TAKE A TRICK turfy E Dewulf 47/1
The outsider of this field she has won 10 races but not against anything like this company. Fitzgerald Racing from the mighty Queensland Residency will be hoping she runs one of her best races here and get some of that graded company form for when she is breeding mare. She has raced most of her races in allowance grade and has tried graded and stakes racing only in her last few starts.
7 134765 FORT GOLDEN S(KY) loubrown T Petty 13/1
Beautifully bred 3yrold FORESTRY x SEEKING THE GOLD x KRIS S. she has the breeding to be a top sprinter on turf . She has only shifted to turf four starts ago and wow three 100+ sps and a great 2nd last time out in G1-I’ll Meet You Half Way Stakes say that this filly trained by Jef’s Thoroughbred Club is a filly on the rise. What ever she achieves here will only be the start of a wonderful career as she matures. She will race in midfield and storm home in stretch.
8 8046 EYE OF THE WORLD(IRE) shamran7 T Littleton 10/1
The second of the DUBAWI (IRE) runners in this field so that is a great advertisement for him and it may be worth breeding one before Christmas. This filly won the G1-World Cup Ladies Turf Sprint — Restricted last time out with a 106sp so she is the real deal. She is at juicy odds of 10/1 and i think i saw her owner go in to the TAB as i was driving to the track. She is astutely trained by Shamran Stables and should add to this trainers already envious big race record in this. This filly is a real deep closer and if she gets run to suit look for her late in the stretch to dive-bomb the leaders.
9 41210 PEDRO’S ASSAULT(IRE) newvictory Se Morris 7/1
From a top producing mare CAT O’ NINE TAILS II this mare is a half to TOTAL KAOS(IRE)
and
APPROPRIATELY(KY). Trained by Wjobsports Stables she has won 10 from 31 and has won 6 of her last 8 starts . She won the St-The EXBOURNE’S HEART Special over 7f in 110sp . This mare will be right in the firing line when the cheques are handed and only adds to the puzzle when trying to pick the winner here. Four starts ago she won the G3-Underscore Stakes over this distance with a 109sp . What beats her wins this.

110075 GANGLORD simsters6 Ji Walsh 8/1There’s hardly a big race that THE EVIL EMPIRE does not have at least one runner and here is there offering in this. From the stakes winning mare TOGETHER HUSTLE she is far and away the best produced by this mare to date. As the winner of 7 races and $895,916 in earnings she has won in graded company as early 3yrod in the G1 ERIC GUERIN at the last Eqinics race series so it was a big one to win. Recent form has been patchy but she has never been far away and on her day she can foot it with the best. a closer who will be ridden for luck.
11 104683 HIGHFLY’S GOLDIE(IRE) evefly T Maes 8/1
From the G3 winning mare FLY SEEKER she is trained by Brundlefly Stables she has won 9 from 25 the one graded race she had was as a 2yrold where she ran 3rd since then she has raced in allowance races mostly but in her last 3 starts has raced in stakes races for 2 wins including last time out in the St-The BOLDLY FLAP Stakes over 6f in 106sp so she is improving at the right time any further improvement would see her hard to beat in this. Another back runner so the finish will be interesting.
12 106229 GONE DEEP tntfarms Ga Thom 11/1
Tntfarms Stables bring this 5yrold mare to race here in Ostend her breeding suggest that dirt would be her preference and all her early racing was on this surface with a lot of success around the 8f mark but turf runs have been better. hard to get a line on her distance wise as she has mixed her distances a lot . Her graded race efforts have be moderate to be fair and she may find this to tough at the distance . Her best chance would be if the race was run at a hot clip and became a bit of a staying contest.
13 91016 PLOY tcrowell J Van Dam 8/1
Another who may have been expected to prefer dirt on her breeding but she has only been tried once. Her turf form is impeccable. She is trained by Tcrowell Stables who have a great winning % so they know their stuff and must think this mare is cherry ripe to get the spoils here. Just nosed out by EYE OF THE WORLD(IRE) in the WG1-World Cup Ladies Turf Sprint — Restricted last time out so they might figure in the top two placing’s again here. As the winner of 9 races and $1,200,550 in stakes she has raced and beaten the best. She may well be the leader even from her wide alley and cross them early to try and lead all the way as probably the only true leader she may get easy run up front.
14 121949 CAT ON HOLD(KY) sleworama R Vandam 35/1
Big outsider who jumped out of the ground last time out to surprise everybody in the G1-I’ll Meet You Half Way Stakes over 6.f in a 104sp if she were to recreate that effort she may provide the upset of the day. Trainer Slewsback Stables a resident of The CR RACERS must be delighted that she is finding top form . From the stakes winning mare JOVE’S TRICK she is a half sister to the graded winner BAG O TRICKS a fine performer on dirt. If your looking for longer odds this week you could do worse that put a $ on this mare.
