Almost a full field for todays feature over a mile on the Dirt course but by the looks of the morning line more than a third of the field can be discounted in terms of finding the winner. Let’s take a look at thestrengths and weakness of each runner-

POSITIVES
Two recent graded wins over this trip, five recent runs with sp’s over 100, ranked number 3 over this trip. Seems certain to run at least a 100 sp.
NEGATIVES
Rather disapointing last run, never run as well on short rest (only three weeks since last run), even when she’s won she never quite sees out this trip.
OVERALL
More negatives than positives for me, why run the third ranked filly only two weeks before the Breeders Bowl ? Especially when she doesn’t run as well on short rest. Passed over today.

POSITIVES
Three runs in a row over 100sp, this looks about her trip, good fourth in a Grade II latest with a 107 sp.
NEGATIVES
Never won a stakes, never mind a graded race, had basically looked an allowance prior to that last run, asking a lot to expect further improvement on her 30th run.
OVERALL
That last run gives her a chance but it has the look of a “career run” about it and I can’t see a win today.
KRUKA(KY) (HENNESSY x NIJINSKY II x CAPOTE) |
POSITIVES
Clearly still improving, this looks a better trip after fading in two recent 9f tries and plenty of stakes experience.
NEGATIVES
Yet to break the 100 sp barrier, even this mile looks too far, only one recent win.
OVERALL
Looks to be crying out for 6-7f and will be in rthe lead early here. Will get caught though as she simply doesn’t have the form for this.

POSITIVES
Four recent wins , all in stakes races, four recent sp’s over the magic 100.
NEGATIVES
Never won a graded race, in fact struggled when tried, even a best from her of 104 shouldn’tbe enough to win here.
OVERALL
Another who’s form isn’t good enough, in fact she must be worth another try on grass over this trip. No win today.

POSITIVES
Six consecutive good runs in graded races , with a win, a second and a third. All of those over 100 sp and her best of 107 puts he right in the picture here.
NEGATIVES
Lots of stamina in that pedigree and with each run over 8f she’s looked more and more as though 10f should be her trip.Comes from a mile back and with a lot of early speed here that may be difficult.
OVARALL
Could well get up on the wire but i’d love to see her at 10f. Should make the money but don’t know about the win.

POSITIVES
Won a Grade III latest over this trip with a 111 sp , has four other recent runsover the 100 mark recently. Clearly in great form, another 111 would walk away with this.
NEGATIVES
Has tended to follow a couple of great runs with a couple of stinkers, with no apparent reason. Has now run 29 times, so was thtat 111 a blip?
OVERALL
Very interesting on that last run alone. In her groups of good runs she has looked to be improving and could be that she’s finally turned the corner. Even a couple of points under the 111 would be enough here and she’s the likely winner for me.

POSITIVES
Won an allowance two runs back with a 99 sp.
NEGATIVES
Never broken 100, only 1 stakes win (as a two year old) basically an allowance horse at best.
OVERALL
Will be bringing up the rear.
WAKIWILD (FOREST WILDCAT x MISWAKI x NIJINSKY II) |
POSITIVES
Recent grade II win, five recent runs over 100 sp, including a 110 two runs back. That would win here you’d think, consistantly graded class.
NEGATIVES
Sometimes throws up a poor run (compared to her other races) , tendancy to find one too good, however well she runs.
OVARALL
Surprised she’s never tackles turf, but must be in the top three based on that 110. A bit flaky, so I’ll opposeher today but definite money earner and will come close.
PLEASANT PEARL (PLEASANTLY PERFECT x KRIS S. x NUREYEV) |
POSITIVES
Won four of her last seven, including a 104 sp latest to record her third in a row. Looks to have a little improvement left yet.
NEGATIVES
That latest was he first over 100 and there a not that many over 90. Huge jump from allowance to graded level, doesn’t have enough solid form.
OVERALL
Not enough form at this level and basically looks an allowance horse.
FLYBURG’S DANZER (JOHANNESBURG x DANZIG x MR. PROSPECTOR) |
POSITIVES
Loads of graded experience and loads of 100 + sp’s. Won two in a row with 108 and 112 sp’s and either of those could be good enough today.
NEGATIVES
Not that many, hasn’t won as many as she could have, can she run to her recent level after 36 races?
OVERALL
Asking a lot for her to run another 112 after 36 races and for me she will run a bit short of that and get third. Of course another 112 would see a win.
MA’ADIM VALLIS(GB) (IN THE WINGS(GB) x POLISH NUMBERS x BIG SPRUCE) |
POSITIVES
Graded win last time out with a 111 sp and five other recent wins means she’s in top form. This is her trip and she’s won eighteen times.
NEGATIVES
She’s been running in allowances prior to that last win, again after 34 runs can she really run another 111? Surely not.
OVERALL
In an allowance she’d win but again another who may struggle to repeat her last run afterso many races. Will reach the money, probable fourth.

Ten wins and a good 106 sp latest, improved with her first try on dirt .
NEGATIVES
Doesn’t get the trip and looks desparate for a 7f run, has struggled in stakes never mind allowances.

Won’t last home against some good runners and looks out of her depth. Would love to see her at 7f on the dirt.

Needs some allowance runs to get her trip and herr confidence, lovely pedigree but not today.
