Analysis of Field

DYNAROBBER is the lone front runner in this field, and should not be challenged too much from the rest of the pack out of the gates.  However it will be a challenge for DYNAROBBER to hold onto the lead coming as the majority of the field will look to stalk just off the pace.

Of the four projected to sit just off the pace, DOMESTIC HANNAH is a heavy favourite in this group to take the lead coming into the stretch.  DOMESTIC HANNAH will be making her first start against the boys, but her speed figures (both recent and historical) are well ahead of the other stalkers.

GUIANA SHIELD will be looking to sit off the pace, and will look to push down the stretch to take the lead.  GUIANA SHIELD is another mare who will be competing against the boys, however she has done this in the past with success having won six of her last seven races with five of these coming in open fields.  She is also the only one in the field to have a history of running the two mile distance, with a perfect four for four record.

Well behind the pack will be the favourite KNOW YOUR CHAMP who has been finding success as a deep closer having come back from as far as 16 lengths from the lead take a commanding lead at the wire.  KNOW YOUR CHAMP will be stretching out from 12 furlongs in his last race where he fell just short of coming back from 20 lengths behind the lead.
