The King Puppet Memorial Review

Fantastic race hey!!!  Hammerjack had the race of his life to take out the King Puppet Memorial with a resounding win rating a speed of 104.  Pretty impressive run really after sitting in second possie for much of the race.  Trainer 1i3 was ecstatic with the win saying ” I always knew he would win”.   Exactly how 1i3 knew I dont know but that is irrelevant anyway as they took this one out.  Out of Gone West and with some pretty slick breeding in this horse earnings are now over the $270,000 mark.  Bigger and better things I would suggest from this one now.  Well done Hammerjack.

Sahkee Spin, another of the ones that I didn’t back made an awesome run to take out second place in this.  Also with an outstanding high speed rating of 103, this one basically sat just behind the winner the whole race.  She hadn’t really done a lot to be honest before this race and certainly not at this level. But this run should give trainer goody2 some real encouragement to keep her racing now in Stakes company.  Good run from this one.

As to the others well they just werent in it today. Barb’s Spooky was not so spooky crossing the line in third place followed by Hollow Hawk who had hollow legs today.  Warheads failed to fire but just managed to grab fifth place (unlucky on not getting fourth).  Sharons Burg hit some sort of iceberg I think although she did run a good speed of 92 so just goes to show how fast paced this race was.  Night Teddy (my pick for this race) basically said good nite before the race even started and was never in this.  Last to cross was Snow Polina and she was also the long shot of the race. Unlucky for her though she came up against a fast paced winner.  Next time out hopefully!

Thanks to all. I lost money on my bets – unfortunately they didnt come in.  Can only hope you all bet too so that we all lost together 🙂  See ya next week and hopefully we can make our money back and see another great race.
