#1
tale of phillip                            jdtrot40 barn                            s graf                           6/1

This five year old son of JUSTIN PHILLIP has finished in the money in twenty-one of thirty-one starts with nine wins. Has just eight starts on turf but has performed well there having finished in the money in five of those. Has gone longer in most races but has also had some success at this distance so should be in the mix

#2
no retreat                                   gcliffo34 barn                         t brewer                       5/1

This four year old son of INVINCIBLE SPIRIT comes in off back to back wins at the “Blarney Pan Turf Sprint” and the Grade 3 “The Orange Tree” having run 113 speed in both starts. He has finished in the money in fifteen of his seventeen starts with eight wins. He will be in the mix here today and should find a spot on the board.

#3
cheap way out                          danmarko2 barn                       n labreche                       5/1

This five year old son of EL NINO has finished in the money in ten of his fifteen career starts including seven wins, with one coming at the Grade 2 “Duke of Mork”. He has run 100+ speed in none straight races and hit 109 speed last time out in a win at the “Intoxication Turf Sprint”. He should go off as one of the favorites.

#4
from fresh air                           gosome barn                            c wyatt                                    5/1

This five year old son of INTELLO has finished in the money in just thirteen of his twenty-eight career starts and has failed to hit the board in three straight Graded Stakes. In thirteen Graded Stakes starts he has had one runner up finish. He hopes to turn things around here today but may be overmatched against this group.

#5
the turfmeister                          baggio barn                             gd mate                       13/1

This five year old son of FRANKEL has finished in the money in just twelve of his twenty-six career starts, He comes in off a win at an allowance race where he ran 99 speed over six and a half furlongs. This was his first race of the year where he finished on the board and it might be tough for him to repeat that feat against this group.

#6
candy smuggler                       masterab barn                          r dowell                        9/2

This four year old daughter of MUHAARAR has finished in the money in ten of her fifteen starts and had a win last time out at the Grade 3 “Mute Button”. Her six career wins have come at Grade 1, Grade 3, and four at Stakes races. She is closing in on one million dollars in earnings and may eclipse that here today out of the six hole.

#7
surfing giants                           nathndtroibarn                         j stivers                        6/1

This four year old son of EXCEED AND EXCEL has finished in the money in nine of eighteen starts with five wins. He had a runner up at Grade 2 “The International” two years back but has failed to hit the board in five Graded starts since then. He should like the distance and has shown enough speed in the past to compete with this group of ten.

#8
classic call                               mossbunker barn                     b doherty                       23/1

This five year old son of CANFORD CLIFFS has finished in the money in ten of sixteen starts including five wins. He will like this distance but I am not sure he will have enough speed to compete with this group of ten.

#9
frankel mini moo                      jdtrot44 barn                            t nugent                                   6/1

This five year old son of FRANKEL has finished in the money in twenty-one of thirty-four career starts including eight wins with one coming at Grade 1. He is closing in on two million in earnings and looks to add to that total here today. Has not run less than seven and a half furlongs in any race since his debut so it will be interesting to see how he fares here. Might be a nice surprise pick out of the nine hole.

#10
ivory wand                               claim2win barn                        m kiprusoff                  14/1

This five year old son of RAVEN’S PASS has finished in the money in twenty-one of thirty starts. He comes in off a win last time out when he ran 105 speed over eight furlongs. Has had success on both turf and dirt with best performances coming at or around a mile. May struggle to keep up with this group at this shorter distance.
