#1
on again                                   silversun9 barn                        l rigdon                                    8/1

This six year old son of SEBRING has finished in the money in nine of his thirteen starts with one win. He had a second place finish last time out at an allowance race in South Korea where he ran 110 speed over twelve furlongs. This will be his first Graded Stakes start and just his second start at this distance and only his third greater than ten furlongs. He comes in well rested and should have enough stamina to handle the distance but he may be over matched against this group.

#2
arsat                                         pato2 barn                                a jolly                          9/5

This five year old son of SEA THE STARS has finished in the money in sixteen of his eighteen career starts including nine wins with three Grade 1 wins at this distance. He has earned close to four million dollars and should add to that total here today as he goes off as one of the favorites out of the two hole.

#3
dukes high                                    aguadeep11 barn                 z kentucky                       32/1

This three year old son of GUTAIFAN has finished in the money in just three of his eleven starts but comes in off a win last time out when he ran plus 100 speed for the first time at allowance race in Paris. He makes a big jump here to Grade 2 for the first time and also is stretching things out with his previous longest starts only covering ten and a half furlongs. Not sure if he can handle the extra distance and he might be over matched against this competitive group of nine.

#4
highway band                               rockintime barn                   g moss                                    33/1

This four year old son of DYLAN THOMAS has finished in the money in five of his fifteen starts. He is coming back on just two weeks rest following a runner up finish last time out that came after back to back wins with one at this distance. Not sure how he will respond here in his first Graded Stakes on such little rest.

#5
best montrosity                        lgbost6 barn                             k ledwith                       5/1

This four year old son of KING’S BEST has finished in the money in fifteen of his nineteen career starts including seven wins. He has raced eleven times at this distance and has only failed to hit the board once. He tries Graded Stakes for the first time here today and may need career best speed to find the winners circle but should have enough to find a spot on the board.

#6
lemonade kid                           cave barn                                 k damo                                    9/2

This five year old son of LEMON DROP KID has finished in the money in sixteen of his twenty nine starts including eight wins. He comes off a nice win just four weeks ago where he ran 97 speed in a come from behind win by half a length. He has had success at this distance in the past and has proven that he can go the distance. However, his speed numbers have declined in his past two and he will need speed against this group to be in the mix.

#7
last furlong                                   mickb9 barn                        d evans                                   7/1

This four year old son of SIYOUNI has finished in the money in seven of his thirteen career starts. He has had a busy year with this being his seventh start already although he seems to like the busy schedule and has responded well most times out. This will be his second Graded Stakes start at this distance with the first being at the Grade 3 Barberville where he finished twelfth. Not sure if he will compete here today and I might try giving him a long break before bringing him back for his next start.

#8
thats how it goes                          metroc barn                         t cooper                        11/1

This four year old son of SO YOU THINK has finished in the money in seven of his thirteen career starts including three wins. He has finished in the money in all four of his starts this year and has posted 102 speed in two of those. His longest race to date has been thirteen furlongs so he is making a big jump here and is also entering his first Stakes race of any kind. I don’t think he will be a factor here today.

#9
acrocorinth                              robertob75 barn                       w moss                                    9/2

This four year old son of CORINTHIAN has finished in the money in thirteen of his nineteen career starts and has earned more than half a million dollars. He had a second place finish at this distance at the Grade 1 “South Australian Cup” in March where he ran 107 speed. He followed that up however with a fifth place finish at the Grade 2 “The Second Henry” which also covered two miles. He should use that experience to his advantage and should be in the mix here.
