#1
medal lite wyndaway barn s s ledwith 17/1
This four year old daughter of MEDAL COUNT has finished in the money in just 9 of her seventeen career starts. She comes in off a sixth place finish at the “Wild as the Devil Dirt Mare Slayer” where she ran 93 speed over fourteen furlongs. Previous to that was a third place finish at another Stakes race that covered this same distance but was against lesser competition. She will be in tough here today and will need her absolute best to have a chance.
#2
antrim coast xpansion9 barn o parker 5/2
This four year old daughter of GOLDEN HORN has seven wins in seventeen career starts including a win at the Grade 3 “Bringing Up The Rear Classic” in early May when she ran big 113 speed over nine and a half furlongs. She is stretching things out here for the first time as she has never gone more than eleven and a half furlongs in any previous start. It will be interesting to see how she responds.
#3
pulpit’s ruler wyndaway18 barn b unchy 22/1
This four year old daughter of RULER OF THE WORLD has finished in the money just once in the 2018 season and had a sixth place finish last time out when she tried poly for the first time. Ownership seems to be searching for the best fit for her as she has been run at many distances and will try to go sixteen furlongs for the first time here today. Not sure she will be able to handle the extra distance.
#4
cen den ten gowans2010 barn d zordich 11/1
This four year old daughter of ROCH HARD TEN has won back to back Local Championship Stakes with the most recent coming at this distance in India. New owner gowans2010 seems to have made a commitment to keep her on the dirt after she had raced on both surfaces before joining his barn. So far the results speak for themselves and she makes the jump to Grade 3 for the first time today. She may need her career best to have any chance of keeping her winning streak alive.
#5
cries for oil bulbbloods barn p munoz 9/2
This six year old daughter of STREET CRY has finished in the money in sixteen of her twenty-three starts including seven wins. She is closing in on two-million dollars in career earnings due to her success at Graded Stakes races where she has three wins, six seconds, and three thirds. She is the reigning Champion of this race and hopes to repeat out of the five hole. I like her chances.
#6
tete blomstermala lostkey11 barn n hamill 31/1
This five year old daughter of DUTCH ART has finished in the money in eight of her twenty-one career starts but has back to back runner up finishes in her last two. She makes a big jump here today as this will be here first Stakes race of any kind and also her first journey at sixteen furlongs. Career best 98 speed came on poly a few starts back and she will need to improve on that here today if she hopes to have any chance to be in the mix.
#7
seeking affection thethumb15 barn r bokie 4/1
This four year old daughter of BAYERN has finished in the money in eleven of her last twelve starts including six wins. She had career best 109 speed last time out when she was a runner up at the Grade 3 “The Long Walk Home”. She comes in well rested with her last start coming back in early June. She has performed well at this distance in the past and will be in the mix here today against this field of eleven.
#8
dark moondream wyndaway4 barn b sprague 8/1
This four year old daughter of BIG BLUE KITTEN comes in of back to back runner up finishes at Stakes races with the most recent being the “Wild as the Devil Dirt Mare Slayer” where she ran 107 speed over fourteen furlongs. She has gone this distance once prior and seemed to fade in stretch after leading most of the way. Hopefully she can hang on here today and find a spot on the board as the third entry from wyndaway stables.
#9
stinky twinkey verywide barn f mac 14/1
This five year old daughter of TWINING has raced just thirteen times and has finished in the money in nine. She has had success on the dirt and turf and has a win on each in her last three with the other start being a runner up finish. This will be her first Graded Stakes start and also her first at this distance. She should be able to handle the distance okay but I am not sure she will have enough speed to be in the mix here down the stretch.
#10
medaglia marci liam3 barn c capper 9/2
This five year old daughter of CAPE CROSS has failed to hit the board in her first three starts of the year after finishing 2017 strong with a steak of four wins in a row with two of those coming at Stakes Races. Owner liam3 has given her a long two month break and hopes that she will respond well and will like the added distance in this the longest race of her career.
#11
heart woman corza4 barn s wabbington 26/1
This five year old daughter of HEART’S CRY has finished in the money in just eleven of her twenty-nine career starts. She has had some recent success going sixteen furlongs though having placed third at the Grade 3 “Water Cube Slayer” and winning the Grade 3 “Eagle Handicap”. She may need to post a career best speed here today and hit 100 plus for the first time to compete with this group.
