We are here at racing HQ (Newmarket) in the good old UK to check out race 10 on their card,the 13 runner Sadlers Unbridled Challenge Stakes run over 7.5 furlongs on the firm turf for fillies and mares 3yo +.It looks an open race for the $80000 purse,so lets take a look art all the runners.

1) Ganglord 332610 Simsters6

4 yo mare,by Devils Bag out of a grade D mare.19 runs 6 wins 2 seconds and 3 thirds for career earnings of $857916. 6 times stakes winner including a Grade 1 win over 6 furlongs as a 3yo. In and out performer she returned to the winners enclosure 2 runs back when winning a ungraded stakes at Denmark,her first victory in 12 runs.Recorded a 105 that day and would have to return to that sort of form to win this.Flopped last time out over the same distance at the same track,and that may be a little worrying for her backers.Ni Ambrose will ride this 9/1 shot.

2) Glitter Net 144303 olympic

4 yo mare by Glitterman out of a Grade C mare.18 runs 3 wins 6 seconds 4 thirds for career earnings of $120295.She looked like a hot prospect in her 2yo days but unfortunatley for her trainer she appears to not have trained on.She has never won in this grade,and i doubt if today will see her break her stakes duck.26/1 are the odds on offer and G Denovo takes the ride.

5 yo scratchbred mare by Sky Mesa. 41 runs 11 wins 8 seconds 2 thirds for career earnings of $564155.Impressive 10 time stakes winner and multiple stakes placed at distances ranging from 5 furlongs to 7.5 furlongs.Hasn`t found the winners enclosure in her last 7 though and although sure to give her running i just feel that there will be 2 or 3 too sharp for her again today.J Bradley will ride this 6/1 shot

3 yo scratchbred El prado filly.16 runs 6 wins 4 seconds and 4 thirds for career earnings of $366375.5 times stakes winner and 4 times graded stakes placed.Lovely filly who is still improving.ran her best race yet lto when winning a 7 furlong ungraded stakes at this very track with a pb 103.When at her best she will run just off the leader so if she is up there early everything looks good for her.Has a toughish task against the older `uns but has the able assistance of track star A Craig,which can only help.She is a 10/1 chance.

5)Morve De Demon 123125 nathndtroi

4 yo scratchbred War Chant mare.26 runs 7 wins 5 seconds and 4 thirds for career earnings of $317532.Winner of 3 stakes races including a victory 3 runs back over this trip.Last run can be ignored as the 5 furlong trip looked to be too sharp.Before that ran a fine 2nd in a 7.5 furlongs stakes at Utah,recording a 100 speed figure.The inexperienced J Liddle will ride this one and she is a 6/1 chance.

6)Our Flying Lass 206622 deyoto

3 yo scratchbred El Corredor filly.13 runs 4 wins 4 seconds and 1 third for career earnings of $173360.3 times stakes winner up to 7 furlongs.Big ask for this outsider as she steps out of her own age class for the first time.This trip looks about as far as she wants to go.Would be a big shock if she improved enough to take a hand in this.Last win was 7 runs back.At least she has the benefit of an experienced jockey in P Papp and she is a 26/1 chance.

7)Meteor Frolic 550005 ugh

6 yo scratchbred mare by Fabulous Frolic.46 runs 9 wins 6 seconds and 7 thirds for career earnings of $197370.Rated a huge outsider on the book,and im afraid i have to agree with the odds makers.Last run over this distance 2 runs back resulted in a mighty run with a 68 speed figure.Punters will be heard to sigh ugh if lightning strikes the other 12 runners and this one ambles to victory.D Harvey has the dubious pleasure of riding this 40/1 shot.

8)Raised By Demons 110311 Lordbyron

4 yo mare by Seeking The Gold out of a Grade G mare.19 runs 7 wins 5 seconds and 3 thirds for career earnings of $219313.This lovely bred mare is in the form of her life and is still improving.2 runs back she won a $30900 allowance over 7 furlongs with a speed figure of 105 and last time out won her first stakes also over 7 furlongs at Epsom with a pb 107 on the rain softened undulating turf at Epsom.Still improving she goes for he hatrick today and is very much my idea of the winner, having also won over 7.5 furlongs in an allowance back in January.Bo Edwards is the lucky jock on top and she goes off a more than generous 7/1.

4 yo Aldebaran mare out of a Grade D mare.24 runs 11 wins and 4 seconds for career earnings of $148696.Speedy frontrunner who returns to something nearer her best trip after poor runs at 5 and 6 furlongs.Rattled up a quick hatrick in May and June before her 2 disapointing efforts over shorter.She has 2 victories to her name recently over this trip,the most recent of which she broke the magic 100 speed barrier.Wouldnt be the biggest surprise in the world to see her return to her best form,but even her best form may only be good enough for a place.H Welborne is in the saddle of this 13/1 chance.

10)Sanctifcation 355121 proracing

4 yo scratchbred mare by Giant`s Causeway.17 runs 4 wins 2 seconds and a third for career earnings of $104585.Another improver i have to disagree a little with the bookies who rate her a 20/1 no hoper.She wouldn`t have to find too much on the book to figure here and i wouldn`t be surprised if she were to pull off a minor shock.In the best form of her career at present she has won 2 of her last 3 and was second in the other, all in allowance class. She tackles stakes company for the very first time and the each way thieves will have this one marked in their racecard.L Sullivan will assist from the saddle.

4 yo scratchbred mare by Sadlers Wells.21 runs 6 wins 5 seconds and 3 thirds for career earnings of $545541.Smart 3yo who looked on her way to stardom,but just never found the improvement expected and seemed to remain static.Winner of 3 stakes,all of which came as a 3 yo.Lto ran her best race for a while to finish 2nd in an ungraded stakes over this trip with a 101.Despite not being the superstar she once promised she is consistant and may be playing for a place once again today.T Cooper is a good jockey booking and she is a 7/1 shot.

4 yo Rock of Gibraltar mare out of a Grade B mare.22 runs 10 wins 2 seconds and a third for career earnings of $309585.Early price favourite at 9/2 and its understandable why.Winner of her last 2 races ,she won a 6 furlong stakes lto with a speed figure of 102.Most interestingly before that she won an 8 furlongs stakes with an impressive pb speed figure of 108 and that is why she is a deserving favourite today.Must go close in her present form.O Jones is booked to do the the steering.

13)Not a Honky Tonk 032644 flickaspad

4 yo mare by Not Impossible out of a Grade E mare,this Grade 2 winning mare is also a half sister to 2 stakes winner.25 runs 5 wins 5 seconds and 3 thirds for career earnings of $575194.Strangely she won her Grade 2 as a 3yo over 9 furlongs but as she has matured does not seem to get that trip anymore and has shown her best most recently over this shorter trip.She is consistant but my feelings are she will be placed at best.T Wasko will provide assistance from the saddle and she is a 5/1 shot.
