Shemakesmebegood is very very good

Well what can I say?  The long shot of the race in SHEMAKESMEBEGOOD(IRE) at $17.60 on the tote takes out the Princess Bow Stakes comfortably with a 1 1/2 lengths win over her nearest rival.  Her second win at Stakes level she will not be the long shot next time she takes the field.  After jumping well and sitting in second position early, she went to the lead soon after and never looked back.  An impressive run to say the least as she was up against some class here.  Trainer mepere was obviously ecstatic with the win and was seen partying late into the night at the Qld track.  Although not too late of course!

OJAI HIGH was next in second place followed closely by HARD KNOCKS(IRE) who was only a half length behind in third place.  These were certainly the top performers in todays stakes race and with the obvious benefits of course in finishing in the top three.  Also rans were TURF ENOUGH(KY), HIGH ON GABOR(KY), CAN’T TAKE A TRICK and the favourite in GIANT STRIDES(IRE) was last in what can only be described as a very disappointing run for both horse and trainer.

Hope you all had another great day at the Qld track and ill see you next week.
