#1
haack’s arrogate                oahaack barn                      o a haack                  12/1

This three year old son of Giant’s Causeway is undefeated in his first five career starts. He comes in well rested with his last start being in late February when he won the Grade 1 “2018 Equinics” by posting big 106 speed in an impressive dash down the home stretch. He should hit the board here today but the winning streak may come to an end.

#2
inspectorinjector                          racer barn                            m zeus                      8/1

This three year old son of Dansili has finished in the money in all eight of his career starts and won last time out at the Grade 1 “Japanese 2000 Guineas”. He comes here today on just three weeks rest but takes a step back in distance having gone longer in his last four starts. If he responds well to the short rest he could hit the board again today.

#3
je sais tout                                      eurobiz3barn                      t small                       9/1

This three year old son of Siyouni has finished in the money in all seven of his starts including an impressive six wins in a row to begin his career. The streak came to an end last time out when he finished second at the Grade 3 “South African Guineas”. He likes this distance but is taking a big jump here to Grade 1 for the first time. I am interested to see how he responds out of the three hole.

#4
skunkimus prime                          skunkbred3 barn               k ledwith                  8/1

This three year old son of Redoute’s Choice has finished in the money in all bbut one of his eight career starts. He has performed well at Grade 3 with a win and two runner ups at that level. He makes the jump to Grade 1 for the first time here today after falling short the last time out over nine furlongs at the Grade 2 “South African Classic”. He will be in tough here today and may need a new career best to compete with this group.

#5
makwi                                   omroiwalmo barn             b child                       11/1

This son of Makfi has won six times in ten starts including last time out at the Grade 3 “The Far Lap” where he posted a career best 108 speed. He also had a win at Grade 1 previously when he took the “Duetoburst Stakes” back in October. He seems to be trending in the right direction coming in and may just have enough to hit the board here today.

#6
floating ice                                      bsben8 barn                        g owans                    15/1

This three year old son of Kodiac had back to back wins at Grade 3 at “The Knotting Hill Special” and “Adam George Cap” before a disappointing eighth place finish last time out at the Grade 1 “2018 Equinincs”. He faces some of the same competitors here but unfortunately does not have enough to gain his revenge and may finish in a similar place here today.

#7
the other one dies            palmbeachkc barn                        z kentucky               10/1

This son of Galileo has finished in the money in all but one of his eight career starts including four wins. He showed nice 109 speed in a big win at the Grade 3 “South African Guineas” two starts ago and hopes to have a similar showing here today at the same distance. He should be in the mix here today and could be a good long shot pick.

#8
haut monde                        round1 barn                        z ayya                                    8/1

This three year old son of Frankel has won seven times in ten career starts including a win his last time out the Grade 3 “Irish Guineas 2000 Trial” where he won by a neck at this same distance. He has won twice at Grade 1 and should be in the mix today as he has performed well at this distance and against similar competition in the past.

#9
mr wednesday                   super8 barn                                    f gossett                   12/1

This three year old son of Sepoy has an impressive five wins in eight career starts including back to back wins in his last two. Last time out he took home the Grade 3 “Czech 2000 Guineas” where he won quite easily at this same distance. He faces better competition here today but should still be in the mix.

#10
optimal outcome                          mtk2013 barn                    t kelly                                    9/1

This three year old son of Medaglio D’Oro has finished in the money in seven of his eight career starts including four wins. He posted a career best 104 speed last time out when he won the Grade 3 “Dracula Stakes” just four weeks ago. He makes the jump to Grade 1 for the first time here today but might be a nice surprise against this field of fourteen.

#11
march girl babs                  burgers barn                       b f abman                 17/1

This three year old son of September Storm has finished in the money in five of his seven starts. His last start was a win at the Grade 3 “The Palms” where he posted a career best 103 speed.  He makes a big jump here to Grade 1 and he may be overmatched here today and may be better suited for a longer distance.

#12
liquid obsession                ladofmanor barn               d evans                     11/1

This three year old son of Awesome Again has finished in the money of eight of nine career starts. He finished in eleventh his last time out at his first start at Grade 1, the “Florida Derby – Derby Lock Prep”, but that was on dirt.  He should respond well to a return to the turf here today but might prefer going a little further than the scheduled mile.

#13
weaver’s warrior               lenny2 barn                         l radzinski                5/1

This three year old son of Redoute’s Choice has amassed more than two million dollars in earnings in his young career. He has won six times including a win at the Grade 2 “Coventry Stakes” and two Grade 1 wins at “The Firebird” and “The Futurity”. He comes in on just four weeks rest but had an easy win at an allowance race last time out and should still be counted on as one of the favorites here today

#14
violent turn                         mtkg2offspring barn        m kelly                      16/1

This son of Violence is coming off a sixth place finish last time out at the Grade 3 “Irish 2000 Guineas Trial”. His only previous Grade 1 start was a fourteenth place finish at the “Breeders Bowl Juvenile Turf” last November where he was greatly overmatched by some of the competition here today. He will not be a factor out of the fourteen hole.
