Nextbonus Takes QLD Stakes

What a race hey!  Nextbonus local Queensland trainer takes the Brother Star Memorial Stakes today with an impressive win over the 7 furlong track with a high speed rating of 108. Sitting nicely in fourth possie for much of the race Western Gladiator made his way forward at exactly the right time to cross in front over the finishing line. The crowd went wild with the win and nextbonus was seen late into the night partying with his horse and friends.  Classy debut at Stakes level – where to from here? He’s trained this horse well and taken his time in bringing him up this level which shows a lot of patience and nouse.  Well done Nextbonus.

Political Village also had a very good run coming from behind to finish in 2nd place with an also impressive speed rating of 106.  Extrusion (IRE) after leading for most of the way failed to hold on but still finished a very nice 3rd today.

I’ll see you right here next week for the local Queensland racing game.
