PP1 6957 ELEGANT KING(GER) toddg J Van Dam 20/1

The outsider of the field goes from gate1 and will try to hold the lead . He has shown nothing to suggest he will win in stakes company and is yet to try this distance in any class of race should be safely held here.

PP2 16374 FLUMINENSE miltinho A Smith 2/1

The favourite for this he is a beautifully bred 6yrold who has won 10 of 38 and over$600,000 in earnings. His trainer was probably hoping for a wet track as he has excelled in the wet but has strong dry track form as well . He has only won 1 race in the last year . Has won well over this distance in stakes company will be right on the speed from outset and may worry a few out of this.

PP3 109643 CHUCKAMENTAL(IRE) daisymasha T Greene 12/1

Another outsider who has shown little to date to suggest even a place run here trained by one of the gentlemen of the sim daisymasha switch back to turf has helped lately but still hard to see him getting in this finish.

PP4 103176 ESPLENDIDO evefly Se Morris 5/2

Second favourite he has strong staying bloodlines he has shown de is just as adept on both surfaces and in any conditions . He has performed well in all 4 starts for his new trainer and as a horse that races just off pace may be able to get to the speedsters of this field late in the stretch.

PP5 98094 THE CLIFF’S POINT metro R Starr 9/2

From the stakes producing mare METRO POINT the dam also of stakes winner DAN IS THE WALRUS(IRE) this son of THE CLIFF’S EDGE has mixed his form abit recently has won well in allowance company and has 1 stakes placing a definite place chance here again.

PP6 59294 CHESTFIELD nudiebar23 B Count 7/1

It has been a long time since this 6yrold has shown any form in this class of race and his new trainer has tried various track surfaces and distances dirt run last time out may have woken him up a bit for this was once a pretty strong middle distance allowance horse and will be looking to recapture that form.

PP7 52340 SADLER’S ROW(AUS) bmoney F Rizzo 7/2

7/2 third favourite this son of the mighty LONHRO (AUS) is still working his way through the classes only having 14 starts and only 8 of those on turf from the $1,000,000 earning G1 mare SADLER’S PYE she is yet to produce one with anything like her ability but this guy shows he may well be the best with time what ever he does here he will improve over the next year at these longer route races.
