Eight races already for this daughter of 2008 Juvenile champion Midshipman, with only one win. She faces a very tall task for this race, as her only victory came in a maiden $75,000 claiming race. Trainer asfarms is still hopeful his filly has much more in the tank than what she has shown already. Maybe she can pick up the pieces late for a minor award, but her 20/1 morning line is more than justified. I will have to pass on her.

This young lady sure showed her talent in her only race so far, a convincing win going two turns in sunny California. Interestingly, now her owner and trainer stablechampion8 sends her East, maybe thinking the competition here in New York is softer than in Cali. She displayed an impressive turn off foot in that outing, and takes a nice cutback in distance, trying to become an early Grade I winner. She is still light in her speed figures and lacks seasoning, but no doubt she looks like a good one and can’t be surprised if she pulls this off.

Now she has a little more seasoning and an additional half a furlong to work with. Trainer jastables gave her a nice six week refresher, so she should be ready to fire, and if she gets help from a hot pace, she will be right there when all the marbles are counted. Big chance.

Then her trainer lawyerron switched surfaces with her, and although she has not been able to win on the main track, she has improved on her speed figures. She likes to be part of the early frey, but there is plenty of speed signed in in this race, and she fells somewhat short on her figures. 6/1 is an awfully low price to take on her, I’ll pass.

After scoring her first stakes wins in her next to last start, she took on a very tough field in the Equinics, and she did not made a fool of herself, coming in a very solid third place, and staying in contention from the gitgo. She is again taking a step up in class, but seems she is as honest a filly as you can get, and we know she will be in the mix since they open the doors. 10-1 is an enticing price, she already tested the Grade I waters, and I like her a lot. The jump from listed stakes winner at five furlongs to a Grade I competitor at seven furlong is one considerable leap, much more for these young fillies. And so far, she has shown that the farther the distance, the worst she runs, so will need to vastly improve on her best effort so far to have a chance against this bunch.

Lightly raced filly that looks like she will fare much better at two turns. With only three races lifetime, she has the right to keep improving, and we expect this to happen. But still the question lingers; is she good enough to compete against Grade I type fillies? That remains to be seen. The only horse to this date that has won two different Breeders Cup races, Secret Circle, sires this bay filly. After a solid win in allowance company, her trainer 16 away took her from the ground to the top of the hill, running her in the Grade I Equinics race for two year old fillies. She did not do well at all, and now she takes on an Open Grade I field. Does not look good for her, at least on paper, and she needs to step it up quite big to stand a chance in here.

In the main track, she has not gone farther than five and a half furlongs, so there is a big disadvantage she has. Couple that with the big difference that makes running against restricted allowance fillies and running versus some of the most promising two year old fillies in the SIM, and you can pretty much deduct she is in very deep waters. Pass also.

Coming from a very humble pedigree line, this filly is turning into a very nice little surprise for his trainer, graywolf31. In her next to last race, she gave indications that she was coming into her own, losing by a diminishing length the Grade II Stoker Handicap. hen, in her most recent, all came together, coming from near the front to take the Grade III Schoolerville. I like her progression, just how it should be done, first maiden, the allowance, then lower grade stakes and now a Grade I. Like the 8/1 also for the filly with the best speed figure of the race. Top three.

She has not come worst than second in six lifetime tries so far, but, generally speaking, she has been running with fillies that do not compare even remotely with the quality in here. It is true that she is already a stakes winner, taking on her next to last outing the five furlong Smooth Hennessy, and is also true that her last start was her best, just missing in the Grade II Butterfly Futurity. But still, she will have to take a step forward to give her a chance to score in here.
