From Lone Star Park casino and race track in Grand Prairie,  Texas,  the Elite Racing Club presents the Pine Bluff.   Contested at seven furlongs (or ~1400 meters metric) over what will be a fast dirt surface,  a field of seven club runners,  including an upstart filly,  will battle for the winner’s share of the $100,000 purse on tap,  and for the spotlight in the trophy presentation after the race.  The winning trainer will also add the stakes bonus points awarded to their total,  which will decide the club champion at the end of the year.
.
As seems to be usual,  Harrylan sends out the 5/2 morning line favorite ,  while amir,  tees and dontbetonme share second billing with their steeds at 4/1.   Jbcri and summerset’s runners are held at 9/2,  and gryphon rounds out the field with a 21/1 longshot.
.
The club congratulates and thanks tees and summerset on their dual gold medal accomplishments in the recent Equinics events.  Tees also took home a bronze and amir landed a silver medal in ERC’s first appearance at the Equinics.  We tied for the second most wins,  and we placed fifth overall in the medal standings.  It looks like we are well deserving  of our club name and will be a force to be reckoned with in the future.
.
As for the Pine Bluff,  we have what looks to be a closely matched field.  Let’s take a closer look at them in post position order and see how they compare.

    COMMISSIONER  WEST          KY     harrylanlow13         K Hallock         5/2
.
Heading up the post parade is the morning line favorite,  a scratch bred son of Commisioner (by Gone West x Raise  A Native) who just missed when 2nd last time over in the One Cigar listed stakes at 6.5 furlongs,  scorching an 85 SP# in a pace pressing performance.  Bay colt broke his maiden first time out one back of that at 6 panels,  snaring an 80 SP# in an off the pace run.  Harrylanlow13 protege should be close early,  may be able to use rail post to his advantage;  stable has a lot of confidence in this one.

Smashing $10,000 claim by dontbetonme9 looks for his 5th win in six tries since being claimed.  He wired a NW1x allowance at 5.5 furlongs in latest,  nabbing a 85 SP#.  One before that,  this Misu Bong mister,  out of the graded placed,  stakes winning sim mare Imagination Mover (by Speightstwon x Wild Again) was an excellent 2nd in the June ERC stakes,  American Pharoah at 5.5 furlongs,  nailing an 81 SP# from just off the pace.  In his prior try he won a $12,500 starter allowance at 5.5 furlongs,  notching a 76 SP# making all the pace.  Versatile performer has danced every dance,  should be in the thick of things if he likes the distance.
