Welcome to Epson for this race the Freezer Burn Stakes Grade III . With the racing in Dubai it great to find this race in England for mares 4yrold and up This race is truly a rear jewel It contains 3 multi $million mares the pick being COLD STORAGE the number 1 ranked classic turf mare in the sim the winner of 13 races and $4,214,178 in stakes . But it doesn’t end there with the #3 & #4 ranked mares ALMA(IRE) & DEVIL’S SLIDE here to make sure she doesn’t it on a plater .So as you can see in a field of 9 to have 3 of the top 4 mares that this race truly is a gem pity it didn’t have a more flattering name. Oh well lets see if we can line them up for you.

PP1 106356 KANGAROO deajai2 J Diggs 11/1

Jumping out of her skin lately 4 wins in a row is good in anybodies books. But has struck probably one of the hardest fields to test herself in Graded company but in another way her trainer gets to see how she goes against the best . Will bound to the front and try to lead all the way.

PP2 8601 COMFORTABLY PYE bushmonste B Christopher 15/1

Very lightly raced allowance runner who has struck a hard hard race to test her strengths in grade company others proffered here. Bred to be good and will be up with leader but may struggle in run home.

PP3 40391 CORZAFFAIR(IRE) corzak T Nugent 7/1

Top performer lately on dirt where she has won nearly $2,000,000 and she is still only 5yrsold . She has only raced twice on turf winning 3 starts ago Grade performer but may be better when switched back to dirt . Given some hope by the odds makers so effort will be worth watching has had trouble lasting this distance in the past.

PP4 89473 DEVIL’S SLIDE afc C Elektra 3/1

The slight favourite for this bred in the purple she is going to take all the beating in the world . She seems to find 10f her favourite distance . Winner of $3,410,200 in stakes will sit back in field and try to run them all down in stretch. A true G1 performer but doesn’t win out of turn a definite placegetter though. .

PP5 64177 ALYCHANT lenny15 J Lawler 5/1

Odds makers give her a great show here i m not sure i have the same confidence as them . Yet to win in graded company has done well at 10f in past and this may be best factor in her favour.

PP6 56438 ALMA(IRE) usoz T Liverson 5/1

Genuine grade performer has performed best at these classic distances . 4yrold who seems to have mature as she has got older and may now be ready to run stunning race over this trip will trail the leaders and be in good position to divebomb the leaders in the stretch. Has hardly been out of the money in her 23 starts and there’s no reason to believe she wont be in the money again. Multiple G1 winner at 9f.

PP7 60534 TREE SPIRIT anymore A Edwards 4/1

WOODMAN mare who loves the turf good stakes runner who has a great record at 10f in last 7 starts has won Empire State Cap-G2 and placed in Black Gold Stakes-G1, Penn Turf Distaff G1 all over this trip a stunning record in anybodies language may be the one to upset the other favoured runners . Another on pace runner so it should be fast run race with no loitering on the way.

PP8 94083 PROUD FERDIE animekid W Cox 24/1

Outsider of the field who may have picked the wrong time to test the graded waters should be safely held in this.

PP9 94952 COLD STORAGE springtime R Harzheim 7/2

As i said in my heading the #1 ranked turf classic mare has been a little of in last few races but with the one run under her belt this year after good break should see her ready to run a big 10f here. Has a impressive record of 30 13 6 5 $4,214,178 has the services of the top jockey on this track and this may be the advantage this mare needs to carry the day . This is my choice as winner here won 4 Grade races in a row last year and not many do that if she recaptures that form she will win this.
