4yo colt out of an “F” rated mare that liked grass.  Colt is nine ITM out of fourteen tries.  He’s looking for his 4^th win, but probably not here.  Has a nice closing move but will have to come up with a big effort to gain on leaders in this.  Trainer hasn’t tried a sprint or grass race yet, and that may prove worth experimenting.  Gone West is his sire and there have been some nice grass winners sired by him.

5yo out of an “F” rated mare that has some nice progeny to her credit.  Horse has been a little unlucky in the fact that he has run into hot competition in listed stakes events.  He has to run 100+ just to cash a check in listed classic distances.  More then likely he will be fairly close to pace in this, and if he doesn’t bounce from his last big effort, should be hard to catch.

“F” rated mare has produced well.  This Grand Slam colt just missed in a big effort at 10f last out.  Lays back and has a nice closing kick.  Former claimer/starter allow runner that full of himself at present.  Extra furlong should help chances and has plenty of speed to target.  Let’s see if he can advance to Park Place.

Blue blood colt by Sadler’s Wells that has 11 W’s in 28 starts.  Five of them have been stakes wins at today’s distance.  Ranked 12^th in this division and has a “for the moment” racing style.  Jock Ross will do a good job of rating as to whether to stalk or press in this.
