Lone Distance Horse Wins Easy

As expected Big Farcough Horse grabbed the early lead in the Zinc Deputy Stakes(gb). Caerlawn stalked the early leader, with Teds Inndar(ire) shortly behind. It looked like Big Farcough Horse might have his work cut out for him, but shortly after the halfway point he flexed his muscles and began to pull away. The end result was never in doubt after that as he eased his way to a 7 1/2 length win. Teds Inndar held up well down the stretch to get second, and Caerlawn faded badly down the stretch but was able to hold onto third. The win helped Big Farcough Horse move into the #6 ranking in the older females long turf division.
