Colt is out of a “G” rated turf sprinting mare.  This is the 4th try for this colt in a stakes event.  Last out was a nice allowance win at a mile.  Trainer drew the top jock for the ride and now all the colt has to do is show he belongs in stakes events.  He has everything going for him except proving he belongs here.

Colt is out of an “F” rated he/she mare that liked dirt sprinting.  So far the colt has closed well in all his outings.  As to whether that is a sign of needing more distance or the nature of his style, remains to be seen.  With the increase in distance he may be closer to the pace, but will he have the late kick?

Out of an “F” rated mare that made a decent living on the dirt.  Colt won a G3 last out at the distance in an SP91, going gate to wire!!  I’m extremely puzzled by the high odds on this colt?  The CPU must know something that isn’t obvious, or is just plain dumb!  If this colt runs to present form, he kills these entries.  I’m supposing the rationale behind the generous odds is a propensity for a bounce.  Maybe it’s the jock…I don’t know, but the colt gets big votes from me.

This scratch breed by Aptitude is in one of the ARSE barns at DelPenn.  Everyone at DelPenn knows an ARSE is an arse, of course!  Trainer has some decent horses that he brags up often, but his methods are suspected by stewards at every track in the sim.  So far, his cagey ways have been undetected for the most part.  You can be sure this colt’s urine will be tested no matter where he finishes.  All that aside, the colt has some potential as a stakes winner.  Whether this event is too soon in coming after a MSW win, is up for grabs.  If not, look for him in a claiming event soon.

Scratch breed by Seeking the Gold.  Broke maiden 1st time out and has two 2nd place finishes in last two races.  Appears to be stalk orientated, and if all goes according to plan; will lay just off pace with a late move.  Colt appears to be ready for distance jump.  Jock will get the most out of him according to present form.  As a side note, this colt should perform well on grass also.

Trainer hangs his tack at DelPenn with the rest of the asylum that abides there.  He has a keen sense of using untried sires with great success and has some fine stock.  However, as far as picking jocks, he’s a little lacking there J  Jock Wylde’s brother has a horse in this race and probably will try to choke this colt down!  He’s as crooked as they come.  However, let’s get back to the colt.  Colt is the 1st progeny of a 6yo mare that liked the green stuff.  So far this colt likes to cash checks for the trainer, and has a credible record.  His best bet in this is to stay close as his kick is nothing special.  No telling what the crooked jock will do however.

1st progeny from a “G” rated mare that has shown potential.  Won a stakes last out in a long sprint at NF.  Seems to hang a bit in the stretch, and at this distance that may be his downfall.  So-so jock will need to keep it together here.  I do like the name as it reflects my putting ability.  CPU rates this colt highly and his record is such that many of us would like to own him.  Trainer will soon find out, along with the rest of us, whether he can go a distance.
