Epsom Feature goes to Gretna

The feature race at Epsom on Saturday went to the second-favourite, Gretna(IRE), trained by breed2sell and ridden by D. Bowie. Happy Ruler made the early running, with the eventual winner settled in third. At the half-way point, Bowie made a forward move on the four-year-old Generous filly, steadied as they rounded the home turn and then unleashed a run to take the lead in the straight and record her fifth Stakes victory. Canis Dirus, in rear early on, finished fast but was still a length down in second at the line. Third was Hollaback Girl.
