Out of a very productive ”H” rated mare!  Mare only had one race and was retired with no ownership stated.  (there are gems out there)  Colt was overwhelmed in G1 last out.  Mare has produced some grass influence in past, and this colt will go for the first time on the green stuff.  The long sprint distance shouldn’t be a problem, but results are hard to figure at this time.  Jock is just OK, but has more wins than places, shows.

Unlike the above colt, this young fella makes his living on the turf.  He takes after his he/she mare that was rated “B”.  Ran second at NY in last, and has so far only shown that he needs the front.  He may have some company here which could be to his detriment.  If not, Ross can hold horses together better than anyone at Delaware.  Colt may have peaked a bit two races back.  Has had some rest, so we’ll see Saturday how he reacts to that.

Purebred colt by Vindication.  Ran a nice race last out, coming in 3^rd with a SP83.  This race a .5f shorter and may be what he needs.  Only concern is that “bounce” that comes sooner or later with progressive increases in SP’s.  Jock is part of the ARSE group at DelPenn, and has rivals running from the #1 and #5 posts.  So he will do his part to give an honest ride.

A bargain purebred that is outperforming his blood at the moment.  Trainer has to be really excited.  Won his last two with 80+ SP’s.  He beat some decent horses last out and has the off the pace style that fits well here.  Can he keep form for one more race?  Tune in Saturday for the results.

Second time on turf a bang up win for this purebred by Kingmambo.  Another colt with the style to fit well here.  Appears to be sitting on a big race.  Stretching out a bit, as is the tack this stable uses to feel their horses out.  Certainly has the powerful breeding to go a distance.  Jock will not disappoint, it’s just a matter of getting the job done.
