1 | POWER SERGE( | 5/1 | Very nice looking scratch bred by Black Tie Affair. Likes running just off the pace and has a solid kick. Jock is decent and extra furlong shouldn’t impede style. However, this colt has steadily improved SP’s in last three races. Is he due for a bounce? One thing in his favor is his time off. He’s had more than enough rest to gather himself which

DelPenn trainer that bred over one of his favorite mares to produce a very decent 2yo. Colt has won on dirt and turf so far, as would be expected with A.P. Indy as sire. He’ll be going an extra .5f which should not pose a problem. The only statement he’ll have to make is whether he runs well on a fast track. He has two W’s and a 3rd on off tracks so far. Has won here before. Jock is a honest sort, and colt usually comes from mid pack. Look for a late run here.

Big race last out for this Stephen Got Even colt. Was beaten by Degoldenstorm, who went on to win a G2. Colt backed up some in that race, but was up against some stiff competition. Could be he peaked in that event and may be bouncy here. One thing is for sure….trainer needs to be aware of the jock, who is as crooked as they come. He is part of the DelPenn ARSE group that stoops to no ends to win a race. Jock has been known to choke a horse down so one of the ARSE group can win. There is one ARSE horse running just outside this colt, so be aware.

Egotistical ARSE trainer (as can be seen by the colt’s name), who brags that no one can beat him on the

Colt is out of a G-rated mare and has an early stakes win to his credit. However, hasn’t shown the class to be a consistent runner in these events. May pick up a check here, but don’t think he will win. Has the top jock in Ross, which will give him the best he has to offer. Just may not be good enough.

Out of a very nice producing G-rated mare. All her progeny have run well in stakes events. Should be right there with the pace and should have no problem with the distance. Jock is one of the best at this oval and should rate the colt well. There is that one concern of the jump in SP in the last. Can the colt duplicate that effort? If he can, we have the winner. |
