Todays feature at Epsom Downs sees the colts go head to head over the extended mile on the turf course.
The morning line has it as a four horse race with the rest coming on behind. OUT ON BAIL is the favourite based on his latest run, a stakes win over this trip with a 107 sp. Another run like that and he’s nailed on. CAMBADOS has won a stakes over 8f this year and also has a recent 105sp in an allowance and there’s nop reason he won’t run well but he looks ready for a step up in trip and I can’t see a win.
SUPER REVENGE is still a novice and bombed his first try in graded company lastest but his previous run over todays trip with a 110 sp in winning a stakes really takes the eye. Expect another big run and top three at least. BIG THUNDER has a lot of experience and a recent stakes win but his sp’s are some way below the last two named and I don’t expect a win here. Top five at best.
WELLS OF ENDURANCE has been running in allowances and his latest win over 8f going away with a 103sp looks pretty good here. Expect a top three place and he could be a real danger. APTI AND THE GOLD has some nice reccent allowance wins burt has not broken the 100sp mark and does not look to be improving. It will take the principals to fall over for him to win today.
FORMULATED RISK has some nice allowance form but looks to want further, GILDED HICK has won over 10f but looks to have past his best, A. P. SLEW again has some allowance wins recently but sp’s well below the principasls and RAHY THE ROMAN looks a claimer and should be bruinging up the rear.
