PP | ID | Horse | Owner | Jockey | Odds | Comments |
| GO GROUSE GO | 7/5 | Favorite status here with a filly that’s capable of staying very close to the pace. She should break well from the one hole, and make a move at the ¾ mark. Jockey doesn’t bode well and may screw this up. Fastest SP of the bunch, so she may overcome.
| DEPUTY SADLER | 2/1 | With Ross in the irons and pure speed here, this gal will be hard to overhaul. Jock is smart enough not to use her up too early and may even lay just off the pace if things get hot up front. She won at a mile last out, so we cannot question her stamina for this long “sprint”. I believe she gets the call.
| BELOVED COUNTRY( | 4/1 | Going for a three-peat, this youngster has improved in her last 4 outings. Doesn’t have blinding speed and will probably stalk. The only drawback here is jockey Butts, who is a butt.
| LEONORA | 24/1 | Bargain bred maiden that slipped in. One never knows how they will run, but she should be checking out the other’s rears.
| THE | 2/1 | Stretching out here and has some speed. Both trainer and jockey are putz’s, but the sire is good. Filly ran a decent 4 horse race last out and might cash a check in spite of connections. Her momma was a “B” rated mare, but hasn’t produced much. I look for a fold in the stretch. |
